@presstab
If you going to add segwit don't forget to add LN as well.

Lol. I just want to explore if it is possible, how much development work it would take me, is it worth it, etc. A mobile wallet might be a better benefit to HYP.

Indeed. The mobile app will definitely make HYP more portable. We already have a core group of people that are willing to use HYP as a test bed for practical usage. We are working to expand it to other communities in other parts of the world who are willing to experiment and exchange with one another.

Currently, Crypto-city is giving HYP more exposure to our daily visitors on our social networking site which 60% of visitors are from organic Google search and the rest are made up of other misc. social networks, forums, niche sites, radio ads and links, etc...

Some of the challenges, HYP likely face is whether there is currently a wide and deep enough of a market to support the goods and service providers (or general HYP users) when they need to convert HYP into btc and then into their local currencies. Of course time, awareness and adoption usually work itself out in the long run in these types of situations.

It's become impossible these days to mention one without the other thanks to BTC and LTC.
I think these miners have hammered their last nails to their own coffin.

Plenty of room for both. Just a question of how much support each gets and with that being said, there is no doubt that btc is the most popular root crypto where all other branch from in certain respects. Nothing wrong with that, it's just part of progress. However, it isn't exactly an efficient use of resources. What matters is what we do from these points forward and each has its own unique path.

one thing i dont like about this coin we dont have freedom of speech.. when you post something and ask something. they delete your post..

I've not experienced anything like that in this thread. Are you sure it wasn't from the bitcointalk mods for something inappropriate? (sometimes it's all very subjective).

There are lots of exciting things brewing in the pipeline in regards to the future of HYP. There are no announcements yet, but there will be soon enough. It's definitely something everyone will appreciate. So be sure to also register @ Crypto-city to keep up to date and join the conversation.

In the next 2-3 months, Crypto-city will undergo a complete renovation. A fresh new look and feel will emerge. We are definitely excited!

Presstab, are you still the developer of this coin? What are your thoughts on creating a public hyp address where the community could donate funds towards hyp revival, bounties for webpage, marketing, developing etc?

Yes I have been working on a few things for HYP, although my schedule doesn't give me the ability to spend enough time to make rapid updates. I think it would be great to have a public address for donations, or at least some way of funding projects.

Press wouldn't it be a good idea to burn off half the coins,  supply is way too high

Would you want to burn half of your house because you think you have too much house?  What about everyone else's houses? Burn those too? Wink

Here's another analogy. You're a farmer that grows potatoes, but you destroy half of your crop because you believed you've grown too many potatoes. Isn't there something better you could have done with the crops? Like give it to those that are less fortunate? As a result, you'd now have a larger market for potatoes?

Once you've established your potato market you can always decide to reduce your future production of potatoes.

Don't look at the supply, it's a prejudice from the past of the crypto world. Or, if you want, look at the supply of Dogecoin. It's more than 100 times bigger, but the price is almost 10 times bigger. HyperStake is undervalued, and this way of people's thinking only strengthens undervaluation. Also, don't forget that most of the coins have gained some weight in users' wallets and are used for staking. Manipulations with the supply is like manipulations with your gold by a bank's sole decision.

Great, I think the best way to go about this will be to create a multi-sig address. Maybe between a few of the people here (including me) that have been around for quite some time. That way the funds are not in any one person's hands.
