Guys, I never bought coin with POS reward. Just to see if I understood correctly, I actually have to buy the currency in an exchange and then send it to the wallet offline. Then do in the wallet application do you make the divisions to win the recopensas?

Currently what is the average monthly reward percentage?

Guys windows wallet gives me a virus warning ?

I got the same warning, no issue.

My Browser is deleting the download due to a virus. I guess I will have to change some settings in the brewer to allow the download. Before I do that are you guys 100% certain it is virus free? I am still running 1.1.3.

With v1.1.4 you need to do a fresh sync with the bootstrap: Everything is conveniently here: https://www.crypto-city.com/index.php/hyperstake-hyp-ann/info/

its often a false positive but it seems strange that the virusscanner isnt learning from updates that these cryptowallets display this kind of behaviour i mean when you install a old coin like hyperstake it should know from other users that installed it that there is nothing wrong with it imo  Cheesy

Some Virus scanners are stupid. Just including the characters, "leet" in the wallet will trigger some virus scanners. LoL

The wallet doesn't have virus in it, it's a false positive for sure but indeed it is annoying, if you are unsure about it, just launch the wallet in a virtual machine like virtualbox and stake it from there.

I have all my stakes in sizes of 16,000 coins each, about 1M total.  Coins are mature (9+ days) but says 92 days to stake?Huh  Am I missing something?

I'm going to guess your seeing 92 days to stake on the coin control page.  I believe that would be the estimate for that single block.  You can get the overall estimate by hovering over the Q-Tip thingy in the lower
right corner of the main wallet screen.  That will show the estimate based on all of your blocks.  Also that number will decrease for a while as you gain more and more weight.

actually it says NOT MINTING.  yes, in Coin Control the days to stake is slowly growing, weird.  along with the weight.
If it's not minting is because it's not connected properly to the net, or because the wallet is password protected.
In that case, just unlock wallet for POS on the tools menu.
I have 9 connections and the wallet is not pw protected.  Do I need more connections?  it's weird because though I'm at age 12+ days the days to stake fluctuates up and down.  Currently I'm at 85 days.

hello,
im newbie here, im planning to buy 1,000,000 million hyperstake

how much will i earn per day staking??

so will i divide into how many ??

why divide it? will i manually add nodes in wallet? Huh
anyone help!

thank u  Grin
With 1 million you're gonna stake 1000 hyp every 2-3 days. You have to split it in 10000-20000 blocks to increase your chances to stake.
You have to addnodes to a file named hyperstake.conf on the same dir your wallet is.

Hello! I am new to Hyperstake!

I have a question:

What is the minimum balance I must have before I can even hope minting new coins?  I ask this because in many proof of stake coins you never stake anything if you have less than several million coins...

Thanks for any help!

It's all personal opinions.  I would say 200K divided into 10K blocks.   My guess is you would see 1-2 stakes per week.  I could be totally off.

I always kept the block size large when I didn't have many coins, So I would insure they would stake, and as I got more and more coins I would decrease the size, so more of the luck factor comes into play.

1-2 stakes per week...how much is that in coins?

Every stake is 1000 hyper, no little, no more. So at current prices 2000 hyper per week is equal to ~$3.5 per week. You can expect around %70 annual interest rate but it is subject to fluctuate. If you want higher quantity of stake simply buy more hyper.

You might confuse some users as hyper is a different coin from hyperstake (HYP).

Ya my bad there, to anyone new please dont confuse HyperStake with the coin HYPER, both are listed on coinmarket cap

I have a reward dated 31th of the 8th on my wallet, that says generated but not accepted, 0 out of 6 confirmations, and the coins used to generate that went back on having an age of 0. Anybody has any idea what can produce that ?
thanks in advance

It's an orphan.  Someone else staked at the same time, and beat you in adding it to the chain.   I see them every so often.  Maybe <1% to 2%.  if you see them a lot more often, check your clock, and maybe look at your network.  I know the clock can cause problems.

As to the age someone else will have to comment on that.  I've never checked mine.  But I would have assumed the age would go back to the existing age and not reset.

Thank's a lot for your quick and precise answer. I did notice it, because it was my very first staking on hyper stake, that probably shows that I should avoid gambling, casinos, and everything that requires luck  Grin
