Welcome to the family. It takes a special group of committed people (that is all of us) to build an alternative future. Together we can achieve the incredible. Imagine the possibilities if every holders of HYP participated in growing our community numbers.

I have a reward dated 31th of the 8th on my wallet, that says generated but not accepted, 0 out of 6 confirmations, and the coins used to generate that went back on having an age of 0. Anybody has any idea what can produce that ?
thanks in advance
If generated but not accepted, age stay the same not 0. In Hyperstake very important time synchronization (only 1 min time drift allowed )
Better if you restart wallet every 3-7 days. (if you lost internet connection periodically, restart not necessary)

My first week of full time crypto development work... it has been a busy one! And doesn't help that monday was a holiday here in the US. But, the good news is that I have spent a lot of time working on HyperStake this week, mostly focusing on BIP38 paper wallets in the QT wallet. Right now I have a lot of it working, but am wrestling with automake and makefiles  Cry

Next on my list will be staking governance system as well as light weight syncing that will make it a lot easier for newcomers to get up and running.

Love spending time working on HYP again Smiley

Nice update dev, I am happy to hear you are working on making the wallet a lot easier for newcomers because I had some problems trying to sync this wallet when i first started. It take a long time to sync and sometimes it get stuck so i restarted it again and then work good, i think you do a good job with HYP and this new improvements will help for future newcomers. good work dev.

Dev, as I mentioned earlier, I own 52 blocks, 50 of 19k HYP and 2 of 23k HYP! And I'm on my 13th day and so far only a block of 19k has rewarded me with 1000 HYP! Is it normal for this delay for all blocks to reward me? Will I have another 17 days to get 51k HYP?

The blocks take 8 days to mature.  Your 19K block took 5 days to stake.  The other 51 blocks have just as much of a chance of staking as that one did.  Also they are now mature so you don't have to wait for that. and for the next 30 days their weight will increase so that will make them even more likely to stake.   You should be staking 1-3 times a day, would be my guess.  You just have to be patient and let it even out.

I'm not sure what "Will I have another 17 days to get 51k HYP?" means.  Are you trying to stake all blocks in 17 days?  Maybe, but most likely no.

I understand, but the minimum is not 8 days and the maximum is 30 days for the stakes to happen? Or is it possible to arrive on the 30th day and not be able to stake? Anyway I'm not in a hurry, I decided to get a big stake in HYP, something told me that this coin may surprise us. Roll Eyes

Minimum age is 8.8 days.  Before 8.8 days your weight is zero and thus you can't stake.  after 8.8 days you get an initial weight. And then each day after you get more up until 30 days.  At that point you do not get additional weight, but the coins are still eligible to stake (they were just unlucky).

There is no guarantee your coins will ever stake.  My oldest output is 708 days old.  It's only 1789 HYP.  And it may stake tomorrow, or not.

With 52 blocks You may get 52 stakes in 30 days.  I would guess is you looked several of the blocks staked twice, and maybe 3 times, while some didn't stake at all.

I would be interested to see how you made out after 30 days.  I have to many outputs of different sizes, so most of what I see is just gut feel...

Hey guys. Got a question. At the moment I'm staking with my desktop PC. For long term I want to switch it to my Raspberry. Is the Raspberry wallet with a GUI or not? Is using a raspberry recommended? The setup guide is a little bit outdatet and I dont want to waste my time in setting my raspberry up if there is no use for it. Thank you.

I've got 20k inputs with 90day age without staking and a lot of 10k inputs with 30day++ without staking so it's not guaranteed to get a stake before you reach the max age.

Which Pi?

You may be able to do it on a Pi2 or Pi3 as they have more RAM. I was running HYP (headless) on an Odroid C2 (ARM64 2GB RAM) for a while.

I don't know how well (or if at all) the QT client will work on a Pi or similar small computer. You may need to learn some RPC commands. Smiley

Hi guys,

is it normal that I have +1000 stake in the same day? One has been confirmed and the other is greyed out with 0 confirmations?

The stake is timestamped at 08/09/2017 at 22:59...

Thanks!

If the greyed out will not get any confirmations then it's an orphan, meaning someone staked just before you and their block got into the chain not yours, this is normal behaviour, when 2 or more find a block at the exact same second, one must be ignored.

Very likely you'll need a fresh set of nodes. You can get from Cryptopia's coininfo pages and paste it into your hyperstake.conf file. Just make sure you wallet is shut-down before you do it.

1000 stakes per day is pretty normal for Kung Fury, stay the course !

LOL!! Cheesy Cheesy

Kung fury is great....maybe I wasn't clear, i mean I have a stake of 1000 coin not confirmed....correctly pointed out that could be an orphan...didn't think about. Will update nodes anyway...thanks guys...

Hi, what's missing for HyperStake to cost 400 sat? The dev of this coin is active, right? Is there time to participate? I read a message from anyone who did not participate in such a period, would stay out of future updates.
