Hey guys,
compiled from source on a rasp pi 3b running Rokos but having a problem.
I've created my hyperstake.conf file directing the data dir to an external HDD. While the daemon runs and starts loading onto the HDD I can't seem to get the QT GUI wallet (which I need to use, not good enough on command line) seems to ignore the conf file and just opens while loading the blockchain into the standard location of .Hyperstake on the SD card.
This is driving me nuts, I've deleted all the blk files etc multiple times but for whatever reason the QT wallet isn't paying attention to the conf! Any ideas?
Cheers

I don't use a rasp, but it should go something like this: hyperstake-qt -conf=wallet1.conf -datadir=/whatever/wallet1

Still trying to run this on a raspberry. key.cpp:358:33: error: invalid use of incomplete type ‘ECDSA_SIG {aka struct ECDSA_SIG_st}’ BN_bin2bn(&vchSig[33],32,sig->s); As far i found out the reason for this error comes from some new OPENSSL strucs. But not a clue what to do with it Anyone is running this on raspberry? Hm. I'm trying the same and got problems, too. I would be happy if someone could give him an answer. Maybe the Linux wallet or the tutorial should be updatet. Any news on running the wallet on raspberry ?

My Coin weight is 709324 (1 Block of 26k) All my blocks are around 25-30k... they stake once or twice a day between 30 blocks... One of my 26k blocks is 81 days old with 797k weight... It's stake... but it takes time now that there are a lot of coins on the network competing for the reward. This is actually a good thing... makes stakers want more coins so they have a better shot at the reward. Edit: Self corrected dumb entry... it's not 25-20k...

My Coin weight is 709324 (1 Block of 26k) With only one block of 26k, you are going to have to be very lucky to win a stake as you are competing against hundreds of people with hundreds of blocks all competing for a limited number of stake rewards per day. You are better off splitting those into 3 blocks. For a reasonable experience 500k to 1 million+ would yield better better results. Basically the more coins you have, the better. Also it takes about 3 months before you get to see the full accumulative effect of how things work as it builds weight and age over time.

So what's going on with this coin? It's being revived, but are there any new developments?

You can see the roadmap here: https://www.crypto-city.com/index.php/hyperstake-hyp-ann/infoSome development works are happening behind the scenes on and off the road map like governance among other things.

Hello,
I've downloaded the hyperstake wallet and loaded it with coins but that is the limit of my technical skills. If any one is interested in talking me through how to set up staking of my wallet on the phone I'll pay you $100/hour in Bitcoin or whatever coin you want.
Thanks Jamie Fagan 907-942-7026

Appreciate you trying to save me money but I've spent days and weeks reading this and that and the other thing, watching videos till my eyes are bleeding and I am simply more confused now than I was a couple weeks ago. I am incapable of understanding how to stake this wallet. My offer still stands. $100/hour in Bitcoin to help me stake my wallet. jamiefagan1963@gmail.com
