Scheduled Maintenance of Anon Network

Dear Navajo Coin Community!

I am writing to inform you that soon we will be taking the anonymous network temporarily offline to perform scheduled maintenance.

The upgrade being performed is one of the steps towards decentralizing the anonymous network.

The scheduled maintenance will begin at 18:00 NZDST Thursday 15th of October 2015 and service will hopefully resume within 2 hours if everything goes to plan.

During this period anyone attempting to send coins anonymously will get a simple message saying the server is down for maintenance.

I reassure you that I am committed to this project and am busy working towards our common goals.

The next quarter is going to a big one for Navajo Coin.

Anyone attempting to use the anon network should receive the message "Network down for scheduled maintenance" in their wallet when they click send.

I will post again once its back online. Shouldn't be more than a couple of hours.

Scheduled maintenance has been completed.

Everyone can once again send Anonymous transactions.

Maintenance Report:

Estimated Downtime: 2 hours
Actual Downtime: 6 hours

Events:

Added IP restriction.
Moved error logging from MySQL to text based log files.
Removed several dependencies to make server code easier to install when distributed.
Unified configuration options to a single file to make server code easier to configure when distributed.
Removed 100k per batch limit on the server, server will now process up to however many subchain coins it has available.
Re-factored some functions to gain extra performance.
Pruned all dead functions and testing scripts.
Restarted the navajocoind and navajoanonsubchaind daemons on all servers.
Ran tests to confirm that the changes hadn't broken anything.
Removed IP restriction.

It's past midnight here, so I'm off to bed. Work in the morning. Let me know if you have any issues sending transactions.

Reply i sold @1400 sats ....some . The last time I sold was many months back. GINGER . I  have sold twice since 2014.
First was 10,000 sats the  second  $6000 worth.

Also I ant going anywhere - Decentralization is the key to my continual  interest in Navajocoin . I always knew this team would take ages . I factored that in this time from experience. Once they finally get it all done hopefully it's a winner.  Yeah price is scary but Whale is continuing to push his stake higher.

Two clarifications about these lists, if you will look good in the list are
also visible addresses which do not have movements for a year and a half,
probably they are abandoned.
Also there are addresses that are supposedly "cold addresses" of the exchange,
and it is difficult for both of them to express an opinion of any kind.

Besides those, shown above are the amounts of individual addresses, but
different addresses may belong to the same wallet, and some person can
have more than a wallet.

Therefore it is difficult to determine how many are actually real people who
are have those addresses.

Boys do not fight among yourselves, or you will not have your cake.

Navajocoin should disable the wallet display for cryptsy as this will reflect an incorrect market value and drag the other exchange prices down.

Can we get an official opinion from the NavajoCoin Development Team on this matter

ya, look at the stake weight ... i was getting rewards every 10 to 20 mins before because it was less than 1million, right now im getting rewards every hour due to the current weight of 8.9million.

Unfortunately I'm not entirely convinced any sort of 'fix' was actually implemented.  If what Remy_5 indicated earlier is true regarding nav having it's 3rd birthday doesn't the PoS block reward get cut in half at that point?  That coupled with the recent network weight increase might explain the major delta we are all experiencing on staked wallets at this point.

Definitely would love to hear remys analysis of the situation.

*Also, I have a question for soopy or pakage, if getbalance function is currently depreciated on nav-qt what function would I use in lieu of it?

I'm online everyday, the fact that I'm not logging in doesn't mean I'm not around.

How on earth do you expect us to believe any of this? It's been going on like this for the past 3 maybe 4 months? Instead of making these constant 'promises', how about providing us with a GitHub source where development can actually be followed? You're right, there's none.. Prove me wrong, please!

Has Cryptsy exchange stopped paying its customers accounts.
Navajocoin should disable the wallet display for cryptsy as this will reflect an incorrect market value and drag the other exchange prices down.

Can we get an official opinion from the NavajoCoin Development Team on this matter

What sort of BS comment is this. Ginger commented on cheerleading haha. Not about trust. Don't you see the edit after 30 seconds of making the original post. Yeah it was a week ago. But it's still circulating. I  didn't mind Gingers comments to be honest. His clearly frustrated which I can understand. We are all in the same position. So don't come on here trying to discredit me and misrepresenting what another member has said.

If this cheerleader ever comes on this forum and starts complaining you will see this Cryptocoin go to 20 sats. Im the one that highlighted the community towards Remy 5. I'm completely happy with progress and im hoping when the good days start to come we are hit with a Tornado of great news that gives an upward momentum. The current sell wall is staked with sell orders and that going to need 65BTC to crack. Hopefully one day we all  open a bottle of beer and we all celebrate the crap out of this thing. I know this team well enough to know what is going on. So stop targeting people and stick to the facts.
