There's probably going to be another dump once the bids recover a bit

By the way, if people want to enjoy some humorous FUD reading, check this out: http://cryptoartciles.wordpress.com/2014/07/24/bitcoindark-the-biggest-scam-in-human-history/

Too bad the title is the only comprehensible part of the article, the rest is mixture of gibberish written in latin...lol

I wonder if we're causing others to worry a little bit Cool

scam coin pumpers do this when there is alot of volume on a new coin with a promising future.

you can find alot of tweets and articles most of which tie back to Adam Garrity from Cannibiscoin. I've been doing some research into him.

the fact that Adam Garrity and his cohorts are apperently alt-coin " investors " and manage alt-coin "funds"... but cannot spell article correctly indicates that the FUD is pointless in the long term growth of BTCD, also not to mention the fact that development and support for bitcoin dark is 24/7 should indicate to early adopters that there is progress. But im not here to convince weak hands as that is against my best interest as ive enjoyed these awesome prices Cheesy

Is it possible to earn more than 5% per year on my BTCD?

Do my earnings depend on how many other people are staking?

yes more the people stake less is your earning and also depends on how much share of coins do you have.

My wallet says I am weight 930 and the network weight is 92000.

My weight is about 1% of the network weight (even though I only own about 0.5% of coins).

Does this mean I should be earning (1,177,910)*(.05)*(.01) = 589 BTCD/year  ??

Question regarding stake is this 5% per year on total amount of coins in wallet or is it 5% based on each transaction of coins. like say transaction of 50 coins gets 5% for the year then another transaction of 20 coins get 5% on it how does this exactly work is it per individual transaction of coins or just wallet total spendable amount??

If working this to be 5% per year that is 0.0136986301369863% interest per day on stock of coins?

I just saw peeps on poloniex bragging about their pumping and dumping and selling off btcd.I think I am the one doing it all wrong..believing in a coin and holding..I must be the only stupid trader coz everyone else is just in for pump and dump..I might leave altcoin day trading altogether now and just focus on ipo coin launches and stuff..shame really the good coins get pounded like this.

Somebody that understands how staking works with this coin should write a small paper explaining.
There are a lot of unanswered questions about staking.
