most of the coins generated by my wallet are not accepted (I guess that's what's called orphan blocks?), why is that, will this get improved?
Maybe you have high latency due to bad connection that gives you disadvantage while synchronisation!?!? On my side I have about 5% rejection ratio and I think this is quite normal. Also mostly I get 0.0X to 0.00X BTCD income from stacking Is this normal? wow ok only 5% rejection this is a big difference to what I get. My internet connection is not too fast (12MBit/s) and I was thinking of switching to a faster one, do you really think it's the reason or could it be something else? cuz in that case I would really switch my connection, me want to have more BTCD edit: I also get 0.0x BTCD with about 2000BTCD in the wallet. I think relevant is not throughput, but latency (ping). Maybe someone else has an idea concerning the rejection ratio what could be crux of the matter... However, with 2k BTCD and currently about ~5% interest / year you'd ideally get about ~0.27 BTCD per day . thanks for the info! I guess I would get 0.27 BTCD per day if all the mined coins were accepted (I meant 0.0x for each successful mining). I tested my connection now and I get a ping time of 46ms, is that too slow? If somebody can be sure this is the reason for the low success rate then I would really get a faster connection even if it's more expensive. (cuz BTCD worth it ) edit: retested ping, it takes even 60ms sometimes.. I think your ping is quite normal. But I would let the experts (devs?) judge here, but I see nothing really abnormal concerning ping. Also Im new to the PoS used here, so I cannot really help. BTW I got us to the listing here (theres not much I can do, but I try what I can ): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568166.0BTW2: Why the hell is everybody selling? I am HODLing This market is way to easy to manipulate. I wanted to buy more this morning and I didn't like the price at 150k, I placed a sell order at 160k and moved it down a bit, my orders at 140k were filled within an hour

Wow, wow, wow is all I can say! I've just read through the first 94 pages of this thread and felt it necessary to say hello to the community. So...... what up btcd community! From jump, this thread has been quite fun, interesting and exciting to read. And JL777, you are the freakin man! I've felt really golden about other coins before, but there was always a deep rooted, subconscious feeling of fear involved in such crypto investments...... and I don't get any of those weird feelings from what I've read thus far. There's not even much FUD or hate going on here either. I'm sure that will come as this coin becomes more popular, but it all feels so pure at the moment. Kudos to the devs, miners and community members for that. This is going to be big, it seems, and I feel fortunate to have been able to get in during this pullback Just wanted to make myself known so I can begin to establish a positive rep here, as I would really like to help in any way possible. And this thread is great for learning as well, which is what it's all about anyway. It's been a joy getting to know folks through their posts and I can't wait to get through the rest of the thread. Outstanding job to everyone!!! Peace Welcome to the transformation of crypto! I knew there is a good thing about lower prices, it brings in new people who are longer term thinkers than day traders That is what we need, more peoples to help build all the parts I dont do James Lower prices and the level of quality here have def brought me on board. All the way on board! I know I'm unknown here, at the moment, but being that this is a community driven crypto coin, I'd like to advertise my OCD-like organizational skills. My life outside of crypto keeps me busy, but I'd love to lend a hand wherever possible, once I get my thread cred established. Peace

I have decided to allocate 10% of InstantDEX operating budget to privacyServer nodes, they will also get nodecoins for their troubles. Not sure how much value nodecoins will have, it is an asset on NXT AE, but it will at least be something that privacyServer operators will get daily as there will be ~100,000 nodecoins per day allocated to privacyServer nodes based on how many other privacyServers are connecting to it. So the more active your privacyServer is in terms of transactions, the more nodecoins you will earn. Another 10% will go to the asset issuer(s) involved in the InstantDEX trade, so people running their own uMGW server will get some revenue sharing for hosting server. Both uMGW and privacyServer can reside on same server. Another 10% to MGW asset holders. And also another 10% to BTCD stakers. I think the best formula is to assign one share to each block staked and then everybody splits that day's revenue share according to the number of shares. JLH is the first cryptoasset to trade on crypto exchange like a coin BTCD will be the first crypto coin to get dividends like a crypto asset! This makes BTCD the ONLY currency to directly benefit from InstantDEX trades, even if the trade doesnt even involve BTCD. Press Release is being made on this and hope to get it to press next week. So this is sort of "insider" info James P.S. I still have 30% unallocated so maybe some of the above numbers change? Not sure.

Not sure what this means from github:
jl777 463 commits / 305,782 ++ / 136,181 --
Strange, my code base is only around 45000 lines now, oh, this also includes the cryptonote source code OK, so that makes sense a total line count shows ~140000 lines
I did just add about 10000 lines of code today, so it will take probably all weekend to get it properly ported

BitcoinDark by xpool - The Official BTCD Multipool PROP reward system BTCD Payouts Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's DDoS Protected High Performance Backend Simple setup and usage 1% Fee To mine: How does it work?
xpool offers 3 different sets of coins to mine. SHA256, Scrypt and X11. Each algorithm runs on a shift (see below). The confirmed coins are traded on the top 4 exchanges throughout the duration of the shift automatically to maximize the profits by exchanging them into BTCD and creating buy pressure in the BTCD markets! Once the shift ends, the shift is moved into "Confirming" status while all the coins are confirmed as successfully traded and exchanged, the BTCD payments are sent.
Current shifts run 24 hours, Monday - Friday and end at 7PM Eastern each day except Saturday & Sunday. The weekend shift ends on the Monday. Payments are then finialized and typically complete 2-3 hours after a shift ends.
The advantage of the pool is that you can utilize your any GPU, CPU and older ASIC equipment to earn you the more desired BitcoinDark. Cheers and Happy Hashing! Port | Algo | Example | 3500 | SHA256 | stratum+tcp://mine.btcd.xpool.ca:3500 -u <BTCD address> -p ANYTHING | 3600 | SCRYPT | stratum+tcp://mine.btcd.xpool.ca:3600 -u <BTCD address> -p ANYTHING | 3700 | X11 | stratum+tcp://mine.btcd.xpool.ca:3700 -u <BTCD address> -p ANYTHING |
Donations welcome or tip me, crackers, on IRC! Any issues, please report them here or feel free to PM me, as I can't always see every post. Today's shift payments have finished. Over 327 BTCD sent out to miners on all 3 algos! Keep up the mining support! Cheers!

Will there be any kind of denomination as the relative value of BTCD goes up? I think ~2 Million coins total might be too few if it stays at $10M market cap. Thanks

It makes me angry when I still hear sometimes that btcd has nothing new to offer or no innovation.. Maybe the new website and media exposure helps

400 scam cryptocurrencies and you ladies think this one is any different. LOL Maybe it is. Why release a coin and then build it? Why not code it and then release? A little common sense goes a long way.
What's with the bots trading on Cryptsy anyway? Is that supporting the price while you code or is it price fixing while you stall? Time will tell.
Sorry if I'm a bit skeptical, been burned too many times to count to trust a faceless name especially a former Forex trader. Oh wait I forgot Instantdex is going to be the next JP morgan, or something like that. Where have i heard that one before? LOL We'll see.
I don't trust this coin is not another huge disaster waiting to happen. I completely expect that this coin will collapse at any minute. A lot of people may be getting ready to lose a lot of money if this turns out to be a scam. Even if it's not a scam the price could crash at any minute due to incompetence. Buyer beware.
Everyone remember when Obama tried to convince everyone he was like Jesus? "...contrary to popular opinion I was not born in a manger..." yada yada Well that turned out not to be true also.
Bitcoindark is going above DRK. It's going to be in the top ten on Coinmarketcap. etc. etc. Empty promises.
Just code the damn coin and release it like Satoshi did. Save the empty promises for someone who gives a crap.

Okay everything you just posted is semantics, its common FUD anger from another developer. You literally only have three posts on the forum two of which are pro Cryptographic bullion posts so your opinion is clearly not needed. Do your homework actually investigate what is going instead of being angry that no one is taking cryptographic bullion seriously right now.

Updated OP! A new website with a bounty system should be ready for launch soon (hopefully today), after which new developments should be occurring more frequently. In the meantime, you can play a new game for BTCD here: btcd.dogeofwallstreet.com/
