Wow! I wish I would have bought more at 0.003 - 4 could be just a pump, not a steady grow, expect a dump later i was thinking that too. i think we may have whales pumping this because it has risen too fast from 400k Yea, back to 0.005 please!

BTCD was trampolined, instead of being comfortably over .01 it fell down from .0125 and broke through the support. now the whales will deploy those annoying bots with small volume sells to push the price down then when the big volumes appear, they munch it.
net effect, they saved 10%+ on their purchase for a cost of the polo clearing of the orderbooks (I think it cost them 4 BTC)
be careful, this is major league players who are now using BTCD

Just waking up, having my morning coffee, still holding. It's amazing what I'm seeing here.
I have 3 BTC at the ready to buy at the next support level after the whales are done playing. James your trading advice is spot on.

its just luck, I have been told it is impossible to do better than 50/50 random chance. They even have scientific studies. just ignore the clown on the trampoline I didnt get much coding done today, but I hope everybody can understand. That whole IRC thing was unexpected and it took me totally out of coding mindset for today. was it really less than 24 hours ago the price was trying to push through .007? What changed? The IRC chat had dozens of people who all seemed very positive toward the end Also, I am making some good conversations on risto's thread and I have gone from being accused of using sockpuppets to promote BTCD to someone that maybe has some interesting ideas. At least they have all been quite civilized, I had no idea what to expect as I now find out it is quite the XMR camp. Anyway, without whale games the natural price action is to retest the .01, but we did break past it before the whale games, except were the whales playing some pregames? So, not sure with this X factor. But .009 as support and .01 as ceiling is just fine for now. At some point when we reach an equilibrium, then we should start painting a nice flag again. That was so cool. So, when in doubt hodl. We are still below my calculation of theoretical value. I will let you know when I feel it is reaching an overvalued point, with the assuming that I will finish all the tech and that there will be at least some new coins joining the supernetwork. If the latter gets us a large volume coin, then that would really boost the value as the more users in the supernetwork, the more value. I can only guess with random luck what the price will be on a day to day basis James

I am so glad that with btcd all the regular fudding and name calling seems to be absent. Just true hard work and awesome development, I think people are starting to realize this that btcd is different. I like your post about the BTCD vortex, where good things revolve around the BTCD core. I am thankful for being part of this community, its a breath of fresh air. As I said before, it is very much like bitcoin in its early days, a pioneering spirit and positive atmosphere. You guys are doing a great job, the market cap finally seems to be starting to reflect BTCD's dilligence and idealism.

the whale strategy worked on bittrex. 6000 BTCD sold during the "big drop" from .0125 but only ~1000 below .01 and guess where the price is? right back to where it was before the jumping clown on the trampoline
.01
so all that bouncing around just to get 1000 cheaper BTCD. Hey, if this stuff doesnt work so well, maybe they will leave BTCD alone
just hoping for the nice calm +5% per day

Number 11 on coinmarketcap now. James' target was to make BTCD top 10. Not far away. HODLing and staking my 2K coins. I sold about 50 BTCD total during the PoW phase and will not do it anytime soon. I will not be surprised if the coin's price goes above $100 in next 1-2 months. Not a whale and don't have enough money to buy more. Been telling all my friends to invest in BTCD.
BTW James, I'm not a coder. I talked to some of my friends to make an Android wallet for BTCD. They have experience in making Android apps. They are bit busy with their current project and told me they can help with it on or after first week of September. They code in C as well but I don't think they are smarter than you to help you reviewing the libjl777 code.
Just a few quick question as noob:
- Will it be easier to use QT to make the wallet for Android and use the source code from Github? - If they can create an wallet from the source code will we be able to stake with it on any Android device with internet connection?
Love the works you guys been doing.
Edit: My friends don't have any crypto experience (yet).

I have some new targets now I am not so familiar with Android and unless it supports libuv, libwebsockets, nacl, etc. it wouldnt be able to teleport the code review needs to be done by experienced crypto coders, but I think getting an android wallet would be quite cool, so after I am releasing the teleport beta it would be good time to see what the best tech roadmap is on the mobile side of things James

I think today we go on 10 place DEV, awesome job! I am the one that is so thankful for the community's support and belief in me. I dont think I say this enough, Thank You! To everybody that is always saying nice positive things, it is really helpful to know the support is there. This thread is like a nice sanctuary from the typical threads. I didn't mean you will stuck in the same level, neither is my expectation. I remember your old target from the early days. Even, sometimes I dream about passing the BTC price behind and being the main crypto in the future. I'm with BTCD for long time. Sold my all other crypto and bought BTCD with that. Not even keeping any BTC in my wallet. By the time I go back from my holiday there will be some more BTC in my ghash account and will definitely buy BTCD with that. And, I'd like to host a node for BTCD. Thinking to rent a VPS for that in a month time. Will ask for more info how to do that once I'm ready.

If someone wants to get into BTCD, I've just put a sell order of
1500 BTCD for 300000 NXT
on the multigateway.
They are already sold.
