The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Hi all,

Thanks for voting for the European Fintech Awards. We finished first in our category (public votes) and now got a free entrance ticket (worth $2000)
So, i will be present there!! 14th of April in Amsterdam. Meeting with potential investors, interested parties and fellow tech lovers and hope to meet a lot people there. We'll need business cards and maybe some info flyers..

“I/O Digital is the best Blockchain/uᴉoɔʇᴉq company according to the public at the moment so you have won 1 free ticket to the European FinTech Awards & Conference 2016, great job!"

Again, thanks!

Richard

Good work!

Let's show the I/O digital to the world Smiley

Hi guys, simple question from a newcomer:

I'm considering staking my 5000 IOC coins in the wallet. I have a simple laptop with a good internet connection. What's the estimated profitability of doing this?

Thanks

you will probably earn between 1%-2% per year...or 50 -100 IOC. works out to .136 ioc to .272 IOC per day.   cant estimate profitability as we don't know your equipment cost and cost of electricity....but I would think its not profitable.

Hi all,

We have created a new invite page for our Slack channel which is easy to send to your friends if they want to join.
Just point them to: www.iodigital.io/slack and they can be invited instead of a unreadable Google form.

Thanks

"It is based on stake size, large stakers have more chances of mining the winning tx."

couple of questions .....
under current pos....aren't rewards based on a constant interest rate of 2%..... so a staker with 100 ioc would earn 2 ioc per year in interest and a staker with 1,000 ioc would get 20 ioc per year ?

under the pos as you explain it larger holders will have an advantage and get larger overtime.....doesn't seem fair...or am I misunderstanding?

also

if I have a wallet with one address that holds 1,000 ioc....does that earn more than a wallet with 10 addresses each holding 100 ioc or do they earn they the same?
corollary - will two wallets,  each with one address holding 500 ioc (i suspect many holders like would like to have multiple wallets for safety and security)....also earn the same in total?

from a couple of days ago...was wondering if some of these questions/concerns could be addressed or explained.

The stake award is a consent 2% with 8 hour maturity of coins.
Dion future awards, dev has not said far as i am aware how the fee will be shared out.
chameleon another future award.

long term investor will be rewarded because they took a chance to buy it when it was very cheap and hold.

myself I have bought only now when prices are high, but again in a year they will seem cheap.

it always the case investors get rich and trader 90% end up losing chasing pumps and dumps.

put in 10 BTC see you get 50k of IOC, see where it goes, while waiting earn a few I/o coins.

Have to say, after a long absence from crypto currency, I've just got back into it and after doing a few days worth of research, this altcoin looks like the most solid offering out there: an active & transparent management team, undergoing development, conferences, a good name, nice web site, etc. I'm backing this guys to get to at least 10M market cap in the near future, well done Smiley

why have a sentance like that at all.price fluctuates rapidly unless u guys are gonna update it daily makes little sense

we started in English. Now have five languages. Yes, probably a bit too much to do by hand.
The price on top of iocoin.io website is a script that calculates the price. Maybe i will embed that there as well.

Tried regestering ions user name. Was told 200 fee , when did this change ? and how long is this for. If coin price goes up then no one will use names at that price

IONS was and is 200 IOC, ions requires a server, we told community to wait for DIONS. DIONS will be fully decentralized and will be 10 IOC to register alias. It will be relative to price so we will try to keep it under .99 cents per registration alias

Dev Team, please make an annoucement so people know not to buy IONS names and wait a little while for DioNS.
