1. Premine 200.000 = 20%.

Current diff is 256. My profit for 4 rigs x280x will mine 6 UPM/day.

if UPM price is 0.002 btc then profit for 4 rigs 280x is 0.012btc/day.

2. 200.000 x 0.002= 400 btc premine => very high
They have 2 deals:

a) So if profit of premine not very high (assuming 10 btc) then price = 10/200000=0.00005. Then my profit is 0.00005 x 6=0.0003btc/day. Oh no, no i will leaves this coin
b) So profit of premine  400 btc is true then Dev will buy vote to lists on Bittrex, poloniex soon. Then him sell as soon as possible.

Please look ICB ( Icebergcoin) about BIG SCAM to example

All current miner is stupid and (them's mother+ them's father) stupid too. They mined but not use any brain to think

I stopped this coin when I saw Reward/Premine.

The 200,000 was sold for around 20btc and was distributed to the investors just as the Dev said it would. A few have not been paid, Dev said they will be tomorrow since he is in bed right now. Its odd people never seem to read a thread before calling it a scam. Could it be, sure it could. Mining really just started a few hours ago so how about we hold off a bit and see what happens.

going to sleep now its been a long day. if you don't receive your UPMs please don't panic...

in the meantime, please spam bittrex or c-cex to add us thanks Wink  Grin  Grin

^ ^ Please all take time to at least read the dev's latest communication before assuming it's all a scam. ^ ^

Feel free to retweet https://twitter.com/Wolf_Of_Alts/status/494995917120892929

There are 3 common themes for coins that are failing right out of the gate lately.  This coin has all 3.  Longer PoW, IPO exceeding 5%, and large premine 21% total.  I don't agree or disagree with what the dev is trying to do but if you look at these 6 coins that were launched in the last few days you will see this coin follows the same pattern of those that are failing.

onyx, bittor, achilles, czecoin, flowercoin, and zebracoin.  The hash rates on all 6 of these coins is really low after only a few days. I am hopeful that the current dev teams making coins will look over this list and start to understand that if they want to make a coin that people are interested in they can't keep trying this weak play.  They need to step up their game.

BTW in your OP you said nist5 is lower heat ad energy your wrong.  It infact is more heat and energy then x11,13,14,15, groestl and fresh.
I agree with the energy efficiency part. I have run my own tests with a Kill-A-Watt and monitoring software. I see about a 60-80 watt gain per 4 card rig in power consumption. The heat is slightly more too. But from what I understand this was not always the case. The first NIST5 coin, Talkcoin, was energy efficient and cool. It wasn't until the new 14.6/14.7 drivers and optimized kernel update where NIST5 became less efficient. I don't know if that is true but it seems to be true as I remember mining Talkcoin early on and my room stayed slightly cooler.

Hmm that is really handy information.. so am i right to believe this is not universal to all miners and hardware? For some, blake-256 generates a lower temperature, for some on x11, while for some NIST5 is more efficient. This definitely needs to be documented in more detail..

sorry, but your entry was sent in after the crowdfund closed. please send me your btc address via email for the refund.

you can get UPM via mining, or when we hit an exchange. i'm currently trying to get UPM listed on ccex & bittrex first.

I was curious about it as a relative of me is studying there, but I couldn't find any info about this project on their website.

i'm a student at the ESHCC, EUR. i'm completing my master thesis this year, which will be about cryptocurrencies, and the utopia project including UPM will be test subjects for experiments i will conduct for my paper.

there is no formal collaboration with the university, but there will be more than a handful of projects that will both reach out to, and work together with other students from my courses, throughout the 1 year that i will be writing my thesis for.

this is a 100% personal project that i have already started discussing with some of my course mates and thesis supervisor, and i will soon approach some professors about conducting case studies or to add a project regarding UPM into their curriculum in the coming year.
