Well, at least title for the biggest fail in crypto goes not to Voot but to Syscoin this week. Probably more people will lose their money on Sys than on Voot.

Except that sys will bounce back while voot is going to die.

Sys might be over. So many things failed at launch. There haven't been biggest fail in crypto in the recent months.

Yeah, Syscoin was biggest fail possible.

OFFICIAL UPDATE .

MsCollec has the Exchange code and it is being reviewed by Axed Code. PHP is notoriously messy so it will take him some time to go over the code thoroughly.

MsCollec has also contacted SMOKE about refunding the Cloud and Market funds. Any further news i will update the community Smiley

Nothing more said by the people involved in PR and vootcoin foundation in the last two days. Also the IRC has became silent.

As far i know you have new ways to comunicate between core members throug other ways of chat, but for example i am has not been
too free of time to be pending of this news ways, and to be involved.

With this silent here and in IRC, people that are not "inside" its logical that feels abandoned, and going dumping...

what are you waiting for, to rebuy below 100, to share something?

yep!
there was such a rush to form the foundation that they didn't bother to get the whole community involved.
now that the coin is actually dying, these guys aren't around doing what they should be doing.
another thing, out of the 6 professional foundation members, from all walks of life, none are professional enough to actually come out and announce who they are and what their duties might be.
as of right now, i don't know who the 6 members are. i know just 3 of the members.
axedcode, the leader, sncs and kalenen. i might be wrong about kalenen but he has been acting just like axedcode and sncs. i think deephouse is also a member but who knows?
i am pretty sure many, if not all, of the foundation members are whales.

here are some of their words:
"This event happened as people were scrambling and it appeared an exchange would not be ready for the bounty deadline. This was not planned. It was decided upon at the spur of the moment by jefferson and everyone involved in the IRC channel during this time of panic."

"The initiative to start the Voot Foundation asap was in the best intentions of VOOT. If we were to drag this on, who knows what would have happened. People were already losing confidence and wanted to see actions, not plans."

"Myself, sncs, and 4 others are equally involved in forming the foundation."

last, but not least, take a guess who has access to the anonex code?
yes, you've guess it right if you say axedcode.

sorry deephouse, but things weren't looking good just a couple of days ago when i started my protest.
as of today, things aren't any better but are worst.

where are the people who are suppose to be helping the coin?

Once again you are wrong. I do not have access to the AnonEx code, and I am not the leader.

It was stated previously that you did have the code and were reviewing it.

The decentralized market idea of this, how similar is it to https://openbazaar.org/ ? Is it even worth developing this as this new project is coming out?

We are developing a decentralized market using the openbazaar code as baseline, it is actually near 90% complete with most functionality coded in by us. When we release the source we have will also be shared on git so maybe Voot can use it too Smiley

2 months ago I held some voot, sold at 1,800 satoshis about a month ago I think. Very disappointed to see where this coin has ended up Sad

Hi all!

We were up to speed to continue without the exchange, but as MsCollec informed that Smoke agreed to handover the exchange, we of course welcomed that.  We needed to prepare a server where Smoke would setup the exchange, then weekend came Smiley

Hopefully everything will be setup on monday!

The thing is, even if the exchange isn`t delivered Voot will continue without it. Market and cloud is still planned, among other things.

Best!

well I guess MsCollec is still the biggest problem.

I disagree. If he still wants to be involved, let him.
