Go ahead and lock it.  More threads will pop up that you can't control.

Maybe one in the scam section.

Difficult technical questions are okay.

If you question anything else like pools existing for a solo only coin  your post will be deleted.

Censorship, the only way to run an altcoin thread.

The Spreadcoin Eulogy:

Difficult, direct and genuine questions were raised about Spreadcoin.

A 'strong coin' came under stronger sustained questioning.

Unable to give a stronger still response pushing back on the difficult questions, the community buckled and created a self-moderated thread.

You posted before the "placeholder" posts for the information and FAQ.  Sorry about that.  If you post a legit question, it won't be deleted.

Already the censorship starts.

Don't do this. Just hash it out in the unmoderated thread. Moving to a moderated thread is a bad idea. It makes you look weak.

You posted before I was able to get the second placeholder post in because the new account had a 360 second time delay between posts.

I found it interesting how fast you found that thread though.

However, the new thread is not the place to debate having a moderated thread.  The decision was already made.

Personally I think that your tone don't look neutral in slightest. But you know what? This thread is yet functional, so you can duplicate anything in this thread! So, it's pretty easy to save anything valuable was deleted!

And do you know something else? If somebody don't like something (some coin, for example) he will simply ignore it and will not spend his precious time on it. For example, I know, there are many and many shitcoins out here. Actual scams. And I don't waste my time on them. And I don't try to post in every shitcoin thread about how shit this coin is. Only some bored trolls with plenty of free time (it's their entertaiment) or actual FUDers with their own agenda do it. Both types are unacceptable.

Edit: MyFarm told everything about your case.

Actually, there also those who might be interested in buying into a project, and becoming part of the community, but want to probe before jumping in.

If you dont have one then i think i am doing a right decision to support SPR and its development and doing so because i think spr is unique somehow but you are acting like a kid in this thread why  Roll Eyes

He's not acting like a kid.  He asked a legitimate question and it was censored.

Shouldn't you be over in the moderated/censored thread?

This thread is for those that can handle the truth.

Those that want Unicorns and flowers belong in the censored thread where they can be isolated from reality.

I just asked a few questions at the other thread today which got immediately deleted, they weren't offending or negative in any way, there was nothing special about it but i've got instantly attacked, I did not (re)act in any way here, read through my posts, there aren't many Smiley

Ive been so out of touch regarding GPU mining forgive me, but this coin caught my eye.

Save having to read through 200 plus pages of posts, is this worth firing up my GPU farm?  I had shut it down when we launched our ASIC farm, but recently had an additional large chunk of AC allotted to me for 3+ months.

Running 60 280x Cards and 20 270x cards... Not sure of the exact math but with W0lfs miner which he posted on Reddit I think Id be approaching 500 Mhash.

Thoughts?

I ask because turning the rigs backs on means updating all the SGMiners, W0lfs Binaries, etc. A bit of work.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Strato
For a 500Mh/s farmer,I would recommed you  to buy a copy of optimized gpu miner from wolf0,it will make your 500Mh/s to 750Mh/s+.

Correct me if Im wrong, but arent his Kernals 50+ BTC?

Total props to W0lf for his awesome work, but with only 500 mhash...

I dont see an ROI there, unless the price is far less.

Strato

No, they aren't often - it depends on the kernel. I usually make a deal with some farmers for some BTC up front plus a percentage - it works out pretty well.

god you are a thief lol

Thief? I'd like to know your twisted logic for that one.
Hmm let me see 50BTC for a kernel on a coin whose price is dropping like a stone...
or 10-20BTC and a percentage of your mining income ?

I would rather mine at normal rates or not at all than get extorted.
Its like those deals where you shop gets busted up if you don't pay a protection or extortion fee.

A reasonable price for a kernal would be 5BTC or so but 50BTC !?! thats just pure thievery  especially when you know

for a fact that your buyers won't make a fraction of 50BTC back even with your "Super Kernel"

Nope - I only charged 50 to release three seperate kernels for large boosts to highly profitable algos. In reality, I charge around 5 BTC or less up front. I am not an unreasonable person.

How do your agreements work.  For instance, would you sell the spreadcoin optimized miner if I intended to make it public?  Or does your current agreement prohibit you from reselling it to other buyers.

Thanks
