So I wanted to give an update on Chips.gg casino:

I joined November 26th and all went well. Smooth website, quick navigating and nice layout. Lot of casino and sports games to play and good and friendly support in the livechat.
I got to level 117 of the loyalty because I placed quite a lot of NBA bets. All bets I placed were on NBA (I guess about 200 in total) and a couple on NFL. And a little bit on casino games but only about $1000 stake in total.

So all fine, made a total of 5 deposits and 1 withdrawal, which was processed very fast. So all very well and I have a lot of confidence in Chips.gg but when I submitted the verification some hickups happened. I submitted it on January 8th but it was rejected because I submitted a driving license and it had to be a passport instead. So, I did the verification again with my passport and it took quite long so I asked for an update in the livechat and now today I was told "Your account is undergoing an investigation due to your gameplay on sportsbook. Our team will finish the investigation and update you when possible, thank you and we apologize for the inconvenience."
And meanwhile ever since I needed to submit my documents for verification my withdrawal function has been disabled. Although I can still log in and place bets.

So this will be a nice test to see how trustable Chips.gg is. If this get resolved quickly and in a good manner I would like to nominate Chips for a good rating of at least B.

I did not break any rules so I expect no problems.

Okay, their investigation was finished and nothing was wrong. My account is now verified. I requested a large 1.2 BTC payout and it was processed within 30 mins.
For me Chips.gg can definitely be trusted and should be rated as a B-book or at the very least C+.

What the f is wrong with you for making such ratings. Placing many trusted sportsbook on Rating B and C category despite they are better on your rated A casino. If I’m not mistaken Nitrogensports and Mbet has an ongoing scam accusation here in the forum. I believe Stake, Cloudbet, Rollbit, Roobet and Sportsbet deserves to be on the rated A compared to the current listed sportsbook in there plus Duelbits for their long good history here in the forum.

Care to explain how are those rating scores worked out? I've seen your thread but that's not really explained there neither.
Is it just a subjective opinion based on feelings, or is there some more complex methodology applied?

@Peeps, do you think it is time to update the classification of your listed bookies? Beparanf may have a point, pls check again if the rating is still true this year.

Criteria used to rate a book.

1. Security - getting paid is by far most important.

2. Working with the forum. This is a player's thread and books are held responsible for their actions. Questions are asked of books concerning number of employees, time in business, experience, poster problems, etc. If a book is going to ignore a player's thread, they will be severely downgraded. Most books are very easy to work with.

The following cannot be quantified as to importance since being highly detrimental in one category may supersede other criteria used.

3. Poster review - poster review is much more important at bitcointalk than other forums, but other forums are also read. A high review from a new book will weigh less than the review of a book that's been in existence 2+ years.

4. Anonymous - one of the reasons that bitcoin books are used is to stay anonymous. There may be times where it is necessary to question players but it should be a minimum.

5. Margins - If players are going to have a chance to beat a book the margins have to be tight enough to give us that chance. If the margins are larger than -110 (1.91) that's a big blow to a book's rating.

6. Payout speed - If the average is longer than one hour, a book will be downgraded. One hour is sufficient due to possible grading errors. A large book is dealing with a significant amount of money along with a huge player base.

7. Markets - The more betting options, the better.

8. Traffic  - time in business along with amount of players that a book has gives us a large sample size.

9. Currencies used - It's easier on the player if we are allowed to deposit and withdraw from alts.

Miscellaneous - Books accepting fiat currencies are omitted from the guide. Other forums are read to make sure the ratings here aren't significantly out of line with the average of other books.

I'm looking to deposit on Sportbet.one because I like their bonus but I'm a little hesitant due to the D+ rating, is there a specific reason for that? Also, if I make the deposit and win some money, will they pay out?

My advice is if you want to register and play on a crypto gambling platform, do some research first and find out the reputation of the level of trust from the casino.
Don't because there are tempting bonuses and promotions that make you lose the money you deposited or your winnings.
I think there are lots of casinos that are trusted and you can use them to play or bet without having to hesitate or feel afraid of losing your money.

I am suspecting that probably the time when the OP created the thread the above mentioned casinos have not introduced themselves in the forum. And they came after the creation of the thread. And OP has not updated the thread since then. I try to keep up with new books and appreciate your post. On page 1 there are "D" and "F" books along with exchanges, prediction markets, mutual betting and brokers. I tried to save some space with the post above. There are also 42 books that have gone out of business or are stiffing players.

It is true that there are several new casinos that enter the forum to introduce their casino name and carry out a promotion.
We can try and enter some of these new casinos to see the feasibility and features of some of the new casinos.
However, caution must be prioritized if you want to immediately make a deposit to be able to start trying to play. If you really want to make a deposit, try to deposit a small amount first while getting to know and testing whether the casino can be trusted and has good service.
Maybe new casinos have more promos and bonuses, but don't let us be fooled and suffer losses just because an attractive bonus or promo is being given.
