Those are casino guides. The ratings here are for sports wagering only. I don't think they have a presence here. BTCGosu is popular here. They rank Stake #17. There are 253,000 views in this thread. There's a reason people check in. It's one of the most viewed threads in the gambling section. No "A" or "B" book has ever stiffed players. Some books dropped out of the A-B section and warnings were given prior to the book leaving.

Then look at the ratings of the other guides. They have Nitrobetting and Betcoin #1 and #2. I'm not perfect, the ratings may not be perfect, but it's not from a lack of research.

Here are some things that can be considered of the top rated books. Things that all books don't have:

4. Horse racing, harness and greyhound.

Here are the other reasons to look outside of ratings. The year the book opened, the country they are located in, promos of the book, support to contact the book and their ANN thread. The intent was to make it easy and less time consuming for players to find a book's information.

Sportsbet is a big book with sponsorships of major soccer clubs. There are many betting options both pregame and live. Sportsbet is very popular here at bitcointalk.

The betting margins at Sportsbet are high. You won't find the best line on either side. There have been many complaints against Sportsbet but that comes with the territory of any good sized sportsbook. Most of the time that comes from disgruntled players but there may have been times where Sportsbet was incorrect. Many complaints have been posted where it was a he said, she said situation. A sportsbook needs to have solid proof of any infractions claimed. There are times when Sportsbet has provided no proof which makes it difficult to determine right or wrong. Sportsbet has confiscated both deposits and winnings. At other times they have just confiscated deposits. KYC has been asked for before these confiscations. Playing from a banned country will lead to a confiscation.

There are some other worrisome things concerning Sportsbet. It's a normal practice to require a one time rollover on deposits but Sportsbet has a rule of a 5x rollover if they suspect money laundering. If an account is inactive for 3 months, Sportsbet will send out a letter informing the player. One month after the letter, Sportsbet can charge a fee of 15% per month fee for administrative costs. In one section it states that Sportsbet may confiscate the balance after 180 days of inactivity. In another section it states one year. I don't know if the rules above have been invoked.

For the purposes of ratings, "A" and "B" books are recommended. There normally isn't any problems playing at a "C" book. "D" and "F" books should be avoided at all costs.

I'm with you in hating when they put you on a limit. If you get limited at one Betcoin book, try the other since there will be different limits with the Legacy book. Odds provider setting the limits.

You're another poster that I read a lot because I spend time reading scam accusations and I see you in there now and then. Also, you write about scams in the gambling section.

What you want to do is look at the lines at all the books at the same time. You'll find the very best line on one side at Nitrobetting. I'm not sure of the reason. The lines may be opinionated or move on action. You want to look at just one side of each game.

In your example taking u2.5 1.93 at Nitrogen may be the best you can get at all books.


Look at the spreads/HCP and totals of the two books. The lines at Sportsbet are unplayable if you odds search and the margins are the greatest in some markets. It's impossible to beat a book putting up vanilla numbers. Sportbet is a 1.9 book while Nitrobetting is 1.935 in the NFL sides and total.

My statement is accurate. You will never find the best line on either side at Sportsbet. That's if you look at all the crypto books. To clarify, it's impossible to beat Sportsbet long term because of the vanilla lines and margins. You can beat both Nitrobetting and Betcoin. Give yourself a chance to win money.

jeremy, look at 5 sportsbooks at once. You will never find a line where Sportsbet is the best. That's been my experience since I line shop. Nothing is misleading. Feel free to post your reasons for Sportsbet so both sides can be seen. I don't want to just post negatively about Sportsbet.

There is heavy advertising here for Stake. Many signatures are Stake's. This isn't to say that Stake is a bad book, it just says that advertising is heavy here.

I wouldn't pay that much attention to advertisement and signature campaigns when determining the quality of a casino or a sportsbook. Besides, I don't like the way Stake and their people run the signature campaign on Bitcointalk. Anyone who spends a lot of time on this forum and knows its most quality members will realize that none of them are in Stake's campaign. A more professional campaign manager would have enabled better weekly pay rates and attention to quality and not quantity of posts like it is now.

Yeah, that's a problem you can see with low-quality members irrespective of which campaign they participate in if there is no proper quality control. As you know, Stake has a big budget for advertising, and it seems like visibility has priority over quality. Despite that, the quality (or lack of it) of a signature campaign can't be used to assess the quality of said casino. Not many people that I know have had issues with Stake.

I agree and definitely don't consider advertising when ranking a book. Stake's still one of the top books. My only concern with them is their KYC policy. I don't think there's anything nefarious with their KYC policies but their KYC checks have to be done much faster. A few more long holds will lead to a drop.

Yep, we shouldn't judge a casino by the post quality of the signature participants. Stake main goal is to get more visibility in the forum. They are already very popular in the crypto gambling world with a lot of players. BTW, Stake has also hired some reputable forum members (maybe privately) to wear their signature.

I fixed the link problem on page 1. Your thread is another great source. Keep an eye on Curacao books since licensing rules are changing. They are going away from the 4 master license system and now each book will need it's own license, no more sub-licenses.
