I'm wondering when the whales are going to start chomping SLG up. I hope I can buy enough before then. The price is too cheap to pass up.

Finally a great coin to represent the UK!!!

I will be buying some up shortly. Where are the ATMs located?

How many coins in total when POW ends? Where are ATMs located?

On block explorer where do I see the blocks being resolved  http://transactions.sterlingcoin.org.uk ?

eg. http://ltc.blockr.io/

We'll get this added ASAP Ken Wink

Thank you, there is something I want to confirm, if my suspicion is right there will be around 3.7 million coins and not 6.39 million coins when POW ends. Which mean 63.9 million coins will only be hit in 200 + years.

if that is true then this must be cheapest coin with so much potential.lol 37 000 coins would be 1% of the entire Sterling market. MADNESS

Devs make all our dreams come true and make this coin a great success!!

Kenchanyu your figures can't be right or unless kids are dumping out while mining.

Looks like someone is purposely pushing the price down on bittrex to force miners to sell out for less. Clever tactic unless someone takes that sell order out.

More like the multipool driving the prices down with auto conversion to btc going on.
Might as well put in low price orders in if the multipool will sell cheap.

Should we get more mining power to make it less attracting for multipool ? I kinda suppose multipools still pick the profitable coins to mine... Higher difficulty = less miners. With your theory it should increase the price.

I'm interested about the price since I'm now holding 85919.71800398 SLG and going up to 100k.

Hey Sapton,

Thank you for believing in Sterlingcoin, don't worry about the mining side of things. It was brought to my attention by the team yesterday that the POW phase is going to end early January because for every 1 POW block being found , 2 POS blocks are being generated. The POS generation is a lot smaller in amount so there will be less coins as kenchanyu pointed out.
So we should all be thanking the multipools for these short term low prices.

Before I committed myself as a community manager to Sterlingcoin I asked the team if this will be there sole focus in the crypto world. They said we wouldn't of given up our identities if we planned on creating more coins. The work the dev team will be doing is on sterlingcoin and building services around the coin.

I asked what happens if price goes to 100 Sat? They told me they don't care, they will work just as hard to provide the best possible coin for merchants/consumers and investors.

This is what sold me. Smiley

Hi all.

We have all had a late night working on various aspects of Sterlingcoin. Wallets, explorer, faucet etc.

I was personally up till 7am and now I am up again at 10.23 with eyes going in and out of focus Tongue

If you have any questions do post them here and we will answer them later on today.

In answer to the ATMs we are working on the software for the Lamassu machines, looking to have them rolling our prior to Christmas 2014.

Also many thanks for the comments on the Bittrex live feed. Coming soon.

Spencer

If I learn something in this world of cryptocoins that is one thing ( except few coins) they can radically go down with price, as can go up with price in few days.( even Monero who has long tradition , and stable price and production in 30 days have drops and then price arise nearly double). So yes, I bought before two days SLG as nearly 70% higher price, and now is lower price but that doesnot mean I must sell it now. Wait. Never be based on one coin. Have few in background, one coin can fail and vanish from  markets, but for few, chance is lower.
Patience, patience ,and look at progress. You can always sell it in seconds.

I don't agree, it's better to have more supply as it's better for spending. No one is going to spend Sync coin when there is only 1000. This coin isn't for short term gain but if you can hold for 6 months you will be happy.

No changes to the coins PoW or PoS structure will be happening.

Also I do not even understand your comment about the "CUT the 50 STERLING @ 20 STERLING." as the Spacedrop closed days ago and there are no further giveaways.

I don't think any change for this coin is needed.

My main point from my previous post (which didn't come across properly) was that the price is only low whilst getting hammered by multipools.
Multipools soon move on to new, more profitable coins. This is when the price will rise as buyers will have to pay the asking prices.

As the Sterlingcoin guys have pointed out, this is a great chance to buy in! Cease it, don't change it.
