do you have a conf file. if you do, it is best that you delete this and then try. if you are on block 231979 then it is just because there hasnt been a block in a while today, slow day

UPDATE ON THE MULTIPOOL STATUS: once i figure out why my webend of the pool stops commiting suicide it will be up and running FOR APLHA TESTING. this means you can connect to it to help me test (otherwise i will just be using my own miners to test), but until i at least get a beta going i CANNOT guarentee that you will be paid for the work. again this is ALPHA testing. i will post back with more details once i fix this thread

Nice one!

That error was after a fresh git clone  Huh

wait... why r u even updating? dont make the changes to the nodes until i actually push out an official version, the last changes to my git was just me tinkering and actually breaks things. u should be on 1.9 right now

I was on an old version pre 1.9 on one system (not a node btw).

Let me know when its safe clone again.

I would if it built without the need for qmake and qt Smiley the 'makefile.unix' file is broken in /src

** UPDATE **

Installing qt libraries isn't as intrusive as I first thought so i've gone ahead and done that, but imho it should be fixed in the future at some point Smiley

** UPDATE 2 **

In fact you still cant build eccoind only eccoin-qt Sad

When I use windows client v 1.9.0 after unlocking walllet (to enable PoS) I get an exception in a few minutes:
Code:
---------------------------
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
---------------------------
Runtime Error!

Program: c:\WinApp\Coin\EasyClearCoin\eccoin-1.9.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Code:
EXCEPTION: Std9bad_allocstd::bad_alloc c:\WinApp\Coin\EasyClearCoin\eccoin-1.9.exe in ThreadMessageHandler()

I've got the exception a few times every time I unlocked the wallet.

We've compiled sources of the ECC client available on github (master head).

Please read carefully:
 - AskCoin uses compiled version v1.9.2.0 under Linux - there is no problem for now with it
 - Client v.1.9.0.0 runs on Windows and is used for private use only :-)

ohhhhh ok. that makes more sense. yes i am aware of the issues with windows. im in the process of working through the windows build with all of the errors returned by -Wall for gcc to see if there is anything in there that would tell me where the error is

Blocks are being produced more regularly..

Keep your wallets up... It strengths the network. If you can and are willing to be a node, just open the port over your router/firewall and use the provided .conf file.

There are also some people that are willing to sell this coin low... =) So this means great investments for the ones interested.

Cheers! And if you can, please review the ECC code. We all thank you for that.
