Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

So, I bought some BURST and sent it to my wallet. The transactions show up in the wallet, but not in any of the blocks that were found after the transfer. It's been over 2 hours and they're still unconfirmed. What's wrong?
if next to the tx incoming there is a / it is unconfirmes if there is a 1-10 it is confirmed by x many confirms if 10+ hover over it and it will display the ammount of 10+ confirms there are. if on the other hand you clicked more info on you account balance box it will say unconfirmed for i guess 1440s blocks/confirms roughly 24 hrs then it becomes set balance and is classed as Guaranteed.

mine
Balance:   7'457.26196327 BURST
Unconfirmed Balance:   7'457.26196327 BURST
Guaranteed Balance:   5'511.38958602 BURST
Effective Balance:   5'511 BURST
all 7300 coins were there since yesterday or before and recieved 100 or so today from mining. true unconfirmed. hope this clears it for you. if im wrong on the confirm block ammount please correct me .

Thank you. I guess it's gonna be another 22 hours before I can start pool mining... this is probably the hardest coin to start mining I've seen so far. There's one thing, though. When I click on my account balance, it doesn't show any numbers at all, just the numeric account number. However, I do see the transactions on the page and in the console. Btw, what's "deadline" in the transaction info?

You have also mentioned 1440s blocks, but my dashboard (blocks) says 244s/block

how come this coin isnt on bigger exchange yet?

Noone knows.
Because people are just mining and dumping.
If there is no market for people BUYING the coin, the value will plummet.

...If you have SHA or Scrypt hardward, please point it to one of the multi-pools that mines other coins and sells them to buy burst!

Well of course there is no market for this coin!  It has NO chance of being the next Bitcoin.  This is just the latest "hot" coin.  It is the current DOGEcoin.  It's new, it's innovative, and it'll go up in price for a month or two and slowly taper off, just like DOGE did.  I'm only in this coin for profit.  When the profit is gone, so am I.  I couldn't care less about BURST coin except for making money off of it.

So, I bought some BURST on c-cex.com and sent it to my wallet. The transactions show up in the wallet, but not in any of the blocks that were found after the transfer. It's been over 2 hours and they're still unconfirmed. What's wrong? Is this normal?
Since there appears to be more version 0 transactions from the c-cex address, it looks like c-cex might still be on 1.0.3, which would mean they're now on a bad fork, and those transactions won't go through.

Good thing I didn't send much. Is there a known working exchange?

Edit: Just tried poloniex, worked like charm. Still, this coin is the most confusing one I've used to far... even more confusing than some cryptonote clones.

Did I just I found a block?

Block=9500 coins

Are you on a pool?

I just noticed the date was 2 days ago and I started solo mining today. I was mining on a pool before.

Maybe the block is oprhaned and the coins you received is late from the pool.

So, I bought some BURST on c-cex.com and sent it to my wallet. The transactions show up in the wallet, but not in any of the blocks that were found after the transfer. It's been over 2 hours and they're still unconfirmed. What's wrong? Is this normal?

That could be very possible C-Cex still on an older wallet.

I haven't pool mined since the first week v1 pool was out, been solo mining since thereafter.

I made the first Burst.Today (Windows UI for Burst Coin) commit to github just now, and slightly updated the instructions. It is live now... but It really needs testing and I have not had the time... I would appreciate any feedback, Thanks!

Stuck transactions

Unfortunately there was an issue affecting some transactions that had not been confirmed when the fork occured. The new clients 1.1.x are not accepting after block 11800 transactions that were created before 11800, and not confirmed in 11800 or earlier. These transactions are stuck, and there is no way to force them through with the current client. They will expire and disappear in less than a day. It is safe to resend these transactions.

Simple version:
All transactions that have received confirmations are fine.
The transactions listed below have never received confirms, and are stuck.
The stuck transactions will disappear in less than a day.
No new transactions made by 1.1.x clients are getting stuck.
It is safe to resend stuck transactions.

Breakdown:

Payments from uray's pool: 40
c-cex withdrawls: 2
c-cex deposits(moving funds from deposit to main address. I do not know if this holds up your deposits): 21
reward recipient assignments(miners setting pool): 8
unknown: 17

Full list: http://pastebin.com/6CZnNzF5

So you want to say that i lost my 5800 coin that i send to C-Cex and they never arrived? Well that is just great, i lost 3 days of mining. Thank you dev, you are great  Huh  Huh

How do you mine solo, do you run multiple instances of the miner, or do you somehow combine all the disks with plots into one partition?

With 37 TB mined 22K Burst today. At rate of 0.00000324 convert to 0.07128 BTC than sent to my BTC-e acccount. POC is easiest profit making ever.

Received 12 x 6TB HDD and started plotting already. Should complete in 2.5 days or so.

So if C-Cex didn't update their wallet, what happens to any coins sent to them? Are the coins simply gone, or will they show up once C-Cex updates?

They will show after C-Cex updates.
