First person to post up their results from my new benchmark program for Windows. Off you go ...
Doesn't run at all, Spexx. Here's an imgur link: http://imgur.com/a/Z92Qj

I updated it just a short time ago and maybe it was in the middle of updating as you were downloading. That would be a problem I'm sure. I just tried it and it worked fine.

I tried the first link again, even with my AV off: same result. The second link also produced the same result: https://i.imgur.com/lDAVMhY.png
Doesn't work in Linux with Wine, either.Edit: I am an idiot - Dropbox doesn't support right-click -> Save As. It's running now. Edit 2: I followed the directions in your post (Download, extract, benchmarksetup.bat or whatever it is, then ran the Benchmark script). But then, after the program started running, I decided to bug test a bit because I thought the fullscreen Benchmark Running screen was a bit annoying and it's going to take ten minutes or so anyway. Clicking anywhere on the screen will select windows/icons/whatever happens to be under the Benchmark Testing screen and bring the selected window (or desktop) to the front. Clicking back on the terminal window (if you have another open) will bring the fullscreen Benchmark Running screen back until you click somewhere else. If you minimize the unrelated terminal window, the start menu button draws over the Benchmark Running screen. Incidentally, my screwing around broke your benchmarking, I guess, because it exited without saying anything (or it times out and closes?). I'm running it again, now.

Hmmmm benchmark runs normaly for 10 mins, but result is odd Oh rats. I got that occasionally during testing and had trouble pinning it down. I thought I got rid of that bug by putting in a wait state. I assume that it has created a data file called benchmark.txt but has not translated that into a file called figures.txt - would you check that is the case please? Thanks.

Spexx, the program runs, but it either closes the info window automatically, or it's angry that I have a terminal window open while I run it and doesn't display one. See the edits to my previous post for possible bugs. The results in BenchResultMultiplex are as follows: System CPU name : AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor System CPU type : 1 Physical CPU(s), 4 Core(s) per CPU, 4 Thread(s) CPU clock speed : 3200.0 MHz Benchmark result : 51.53 Kh/s Hashrate per core: 12.88 Kh/s CPU speed factor : 16.10 hashes/Mcycle Core speed factor: 4.02 hashes/Mcycle/core And here's a link to all the output files that I could find: Google Drive Link

Yup, thats the case - no figures.txt file made Righto. We can extract the data with a cut-down version of the benchmark.bat and I can try fixing the problem in the meantime. Download this file benchmark-redo.bat. As usual, it is a self-extracting Zip file yada yada. benchmark-redo.exeRun the batch file and it will go over your results again. Should work now. 50 XMG for being the first one to post up their result and another 25 for the bug bounty on its way in a minute. Feldenthorne - just let it run and see what you get. I am not interested in any bugs, features or whatever that arise when you piss about with it.

I let did let it run without messing around, the second time. That's what my results are from because the first time didn't yield results since I did break it. But if having a terminal window open while running your program screws it up, you should probably fix it rather than ignoring the problem. I let it run a third time after cleaning the directory. It worked as you expected (with a different background screen) with a minor hitch - the BenchResultMultiplex.txt file was not renamed with the date like the popup suggested: https://i.imgur.com/OnbyFn7.png( Google Drive Link for other files.)

Oh and i want to ask you guys if my stack is normal or not: This is what i writed down for my weight: My balance: 189 , all in 1 Address, 150 at same date ( i sent all to my wallet that time ) , another 10XMG and 28 XMG i received later. No spend. 14/Apr: 15:45: 522, expected time: about 1 day 14/Apr: 16:47: 523, expected time: about 1 day 14/Apr: 18:28: 522, expected time: about 1 day 14/Apr: 19:04: 521, expected time: about 22hrs 15/Apr: 8:20: 514, expected time: about 23hrs It's reducing lol Yes that is quite normal. If you sent your coins to yourself, then received some more coins say, three days later, the weight would rise to a peak some time around 12 to 15 days later I guess, then start to tail off noticeably after a time. If there was a greater time between sending your coins to yourself and then receiving some more coins, I would expect to see a "double peak" in the weight over time. When the weight has tailed right off and you notice that the POS rewards are not coming in very often any more (and the expected time to receive a reward becomes days rather than hours rather than minutes), it is time to send all your coins to yourself again. Hope this helps Problem is i didnt get any reward since i sent my coins, Or i missed 1 time. But now it's reducing so the time expected is alway from 20 hrs to 1 day..... and because of it, i'll wont get any reward

Having a terminal window open should not be a problem as long as it is not running minerd.exe, in which case it will be killed. I applied a patch to stop you messing with it Latest version already on link. The problem you are getting with the file naming is an odd one. When you open a command window and type date /t what do you get back? I suspect it gives you the day as well as the date, in fact I am sure of it. That is the cause of the problem. Do you know anything about that? I do not get the problem on vanilla Windows 32 or 64 bit Ultimate editions, nor indeed XP Pro. It might be something to do with the Windows date/time format - very likely actually - dang! More research .... mutter, mutter, mutter ....

But now it's reducing so the time expected is alway from 20 hrs to 1 day..... and because of it, i'll wont get any reward How long ago did you send your coins to yourself and how long ago did you receive those other coins? It sounds as though it must have been at least three weeks ago. If the weight is showing as much less than the balance in the wallet, it is time to send all your coins to yourself again. The way I do it is to create an incoming address called Staking and send all the coins to that address. It shows up on the transaction list as a payment to yourself. The weight grows from zero over several days and the rewards start coming in very nicely. Hope this helps
