jk, I wish I had as much development/programming knowledge as you.  Keep it up Grin

Shut up Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Windows 95 was 16 bit wasn't it? Damned if I can remember actually Cheesy

I am sorry but this will only run on 32 and 64 bit. Shucks.

I have a version of the minerd.exe which will run on a 386 BTW. Want some? I once described it as "slower than a sloth on dope". Lol.

I got pm'ed as well. Idiots.

We do not need to pump XMG artificially.

It is pumping by itself very nicely thank you.

Noooooo thanks!

Still waiting for that Android release Smiley  I wouldn't mind being a tester; better that than having my old phones collect dust!  But I guess that's not necessary with the new version of Android Studio Shocked

I have just been talking with somebody on IRC who quit just before I gave him the reason why he is getting a problem with using the Coinmagi pool with my mining software.

The problem is to do with DNS, which is a problem we have come across before. There are two DNS addresses for the Coinmagi pool. The address given in my software (in the pools.dat file) differs from the address given on the Coinmagi web site. Either address should work, but in some cases it might not. It depends on your ISP and whose DNS servers you are using.

I have updated the pools.dat to agree with the address given on the Coinmagi web site. This should cure any problems you may have been experiencing.

Run C:\XMGminer\Setup.bat and select "Download latest list of XMG Magi mining pools" from the first drop-down menu, then "Proceed with setup" and you should be up and running.

Alternatively, you can edit the pools.dat file manually, but you will still have to go through the setup procedure again anyway so you might as well just download the thing and save yourself the trouble.

Hi,

What kind of marketing can we expect from Magi? I guess a marketing campaign should have the unique algoritme as a basic. For instance is there already some kind of thunderclap campaign?

Can you help me configure a WR703n running openwrt 12.09, so that it takes Ethernet through its WAN port then broadcasts as its own Wi-Fi AP?

Its totally unrelated, but yeah that'd be a huge help...lol Wink

Programming and Documentation eh? I might ask if you can do HTML markup? Maybe a smattering of JavaScript? I have some documentation that I am writing which might need proof-reading, changing to clear English and tarting up etc before release. Would you be up for that?

Sad

12 MHs in total with only the first 4 miners in noncepool and 2 in suprnova...   Angry

Anyone managed to talk with one of these guys? Really would like to understand what's they're thinking. Even if I could bet they don't pay for electricity, there are far more lucrative coins to mine with those hash powers

PS: would it be possible to add the active campaigns (PoI, PoM, twitter etc...) on the website coinmagi.org?

Proud and humble member of MAGI community.

We certainly know and respect djm34 as a major software developer who has been on this thread a few times in the past. I would not mind a quiet word myself Smiley

I am very sad ... Cry

Well, it can make you sad. Cry It helps to roll with the punches as the block reward cycles up and down though. Wink  I hope you are doing well in other ways. Smiley

It makes me happy that we have a nice safe and secure coin that uses less energy to maintain a block chain with a great community.  Even if the whales waste a lot of energy and drive the PoW block reward down it just makes the PoS rewards more valuable.  Smiley
