It has past 25 days from the start of First Proof of Interest 2015.
And today I'm proud to announce the Proof of Interest 2015 information site.

magi.ddltv.info

Main Page

PoI Info Page

About Page

With kind cooperation from 111magic, I've made a site that I hope to be useful with:
  • Quick access to the short Rules of the First Proof of Interest 2015 campaign;
  • Realtime statistics for specific wallet address participating in the PoI, including:
- Initial wallet balance (from the PoI start);
- Current wallet balance in realtime from block explorer;
- The Percentage increase or decrease for the specific wallet for PoI;

  • Important Magi links, all i one page - Information, Downloads, Block Explorers, Faucets and Current Magi Campaigns

NOTE: The database with participating in First Proof of Interest 2015 contains ONLY the public addresses,
posted to MAGI XMG Proof of Interest 2015 announcement and participation thread.

All private ones (send via PM to 111magic) are NOT included!

If you are participating in Proof of Interest 2015 with private address and you want to be added
to the database so you can check your progress, please contact 111magic to be added.

If you are missing from the database, you'll get the following error message, advising what you can do.

Please, tell me what you guys think about such resource.
I'm open to suggestions to add more pages and info.

2015 it will be a MAGIcal year!

Awesome job th3.r00t!!!
You made a great info site.
As th3.r00t already said if a member of the Proof of Interest campaign would like to use his address also on this great Proof of Interest service-website send me a pm.
Trust is very important in this cryptoworld. People trusted me with their addresses to keep them private. So i only will ask th3.r00t to add them after  i received a pm message or post here telling me that iám allowed to do that.
Any questions don't hesitate. You are always welcome!

Already received some request.  Cheesy

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Joe,

Debian 8.0 (Jessie) has moved out of testing and has become the stable Debian distribution as of today, though they have yet to bump the version on the website. In case you were still on the fence about choosing a BDB version, this will make the decision a bit easier - Debian 8 ships with access to BDB 5.3 by default (5.1 and 4.8 are backports). That means Ubuntu 15.04 and Linux Mint, as well as other Debian-based distributions should have access to BDB 5.3 as well.

BDB 5.3 is looking like the clear choice.

Edit: adding link because proof is always better than no proof

Edit 2: there will be official support for Debian 8 for five years

Hi Magicians,

I'm interested in helping Mine XMG, but this will be my first time!  Can someone point me in the right direction?

I have just downloaded the wallet, and currently reading up on magipool.info (Which has CLOSED their registrations!!)....any helpful tips I should familiarize myself with / precautions that I should be aware of or avoid?

Thanks!

(this is my first post, so congrats on bringing me out of my shell!)

What pool should I sign up with?

Hi @OBAViJEST

Are you from Croatia?  Grin
You can register on http://pom.m-hash.com/ if you have smaller hash rate (< 250 KH/s).
This pool gives you some extra bonus. Please read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1028548
Currently pow.magipool.info is near CPU overload.

Hehe, no...I just hold an affinity towards their land & language Wink

I'm still syncing magi wallet with the network....and I've signed up on pom.m-hash and created a .bat with my workername & password

How do I determine my CPU's hashrate?  & what should I be preparing to accomplish once I finish the 'Getting Started Guide' on CoinMagi pool?

Once I get squared away with set-up, I'll gladly make a nice donation in exchange for all the help Smiley  always glad to pay it forward when receiving help like this!  Thanks in advance!

edit: found the equation for hashrate estimate.  brb!

Ok, so I have:

1. an account and worker on http://pom.m-hash.com/
2. XMGminer & CMpool folders
3. a batch file (from http://pom.m-hash.com/index.php?page=gettingstarted)
4. m-wallet (almost finished synchronizing)

Now what?  Where do I place the batch file - in my m-wallet directory?  How must I configure XMGminer/CMpool?

My CPU's hash rate is ~27 kh/s, by the way...

Thanks again for the help, and please bear with me!  I won't pack up and leave this project once I'm all set up Smiley
