Yesterday 111magic came by at our teamspeak, it was a very nice conversation.
After some introducing we talked about the XMG project that we the fruitclan are busy with, it was a very nice conversation and we showed 111magic what we are planning to do and it was great to hear that 111magic loved it to.
This uniek (we think it is) project will be hard, funny and rewarding, and for the most of you it will be a challenge.
We are now working on it everyday with a least 3 persons and we hope to release the project in about 13 day`s.

What's the safest way to secure your coin?

Currently, all of mine are in the Magi wallet, but I feel like they aren't as safe as they should be.  I keep my BTC in cold storage, to protect against digital attack...is there any similar storage method for XMG?  I don't want to continue mining, if I wake up one day to see a balance of zero

I always make backups and store them on external stick. You can also use the paper wallet and safe the code on where ever you want.

Paper wallet is the safest way but you have non to lose it (I've seen people lose wallets, laptops, bags, TVs, not to lose something it's easier said than done) and store it in a safe or somewhere similar as if can't just keep it in your table waiting for your cat or dog to eat it

Windows software bug fix

XMG Magi PoolStats

I have just fixed a tiny bug in this program. It was failing to display other pool information when one of the pools failed to respond to a query request. Funny how one line of code, one line out of place, can do that. The bug-fixed version is available on the link below, or if you already have this software installed you can run the setup program C:\XMGminer\PoolStats\Setup.bat and update the software from the first drop-down menu it displays.

Nice little program, good to see your (ethical ) coding put to work for the benefit of the Magi community.  Expect a donation soon, though it won't be much as I'm still building my supply (and could use a lot more processing power for mining)

Magi community info: Keep your coins save!
Make backups and store them. Magi is getting more and more attention. This is good but also attracts people with ulterior motives. Yesterday 16 clones were kicked out of our Magi IRC.
Only open official Magi links posted by Magi team or Magi community members. If you hesitate ask other members or team to do a security check.
