Just to add my two pennies to the discussion about the origins of magi. I have always understood that The Magi were the three wise men in The Bible that visited the baby Jesus and offered gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Yes. Precisely that.

It is also possible to buy a (supposedly) genuine original Roman bronze Coin of the Magi from Amazon. I am not tempted myself though.

The picture (avatar) he uses is from a Japanese anime.
Just a thougth. For lots of people digital currency is kind of Magic.
Magi (Coin of the Magi) has his => Magic block reward system and many more awesome developments.
If i just translate Magi into Dutch its Magi: Magi like in Magical, Magicians, Kings, Wizard and Philosopher.
