Shadowcoin Tor addnode=.onion's have been updated to the current release v1.5.0.1

~ I noticed that the windows x64 download link at https://umbra.shadowproject.io is currently for the x32 version of v1.5.0.1

The correct windows x64 download link is ofc here :

- https://github.com/shadowproject/shadow/releases/download/v1.5.0.1/umbra_1.5.0.1_win64.zip

- See: https://github.com/shadowproject/shadow/releases/ (all versions)

Cheers!

Herewith, SDC UMBRA Tor addnode=.onion support ;

addnode=umbrapxieyalbldd.onion:554
addnode=sdcfxhy2lmc3j7t7.onion:554
addnode=umbrah4nz5nybziy.onion:554
addnode=sdcfxp7gbiaqniwp.onion:554
addnode=umbrax5u5zj5bspa.onion:554
addnode=sdcfxzr2wpn6hz23.onion:554
addnode=umbra3nrlxk66gzl.onion:554
addnode=sdcfxvuymj4ika4m.onion:554

An example Tor shadowcoin.conf (which can be used with the Tor Browser Bundle - https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html
- out-of-the-box) ;

Code:

Code:
listen=0
port=554
maxconnections=8
proxy=127.0.0.1:9150
onion=127.0.0.1:9150
onlynet=tor
addnode=umbrapxieyalbldd.onion:554
addnode=sdcfxhy2lmc3j7t7.onion:554
addnode=umbrah4nz5nybziy.onion:554
addnode=sdcfxp7gbiaqniwp.onion:554
addnode=umbrax5u5zj5bspa.onion:554
addnode=sdcfxzr2wpn6hz23.onion:554
addnode=umbra3nrlxk66gzl.onion:554
addnode=sdcfxvuymj4ika4m.onion:554

addnode=shadow2b3ozvqmhm.onion
addnode=shadow3kdzs7v6is.onion
addnode=shadow5ea566kf2j.onion

It is advisable to add regular IP addnodes at the base of this .conf for 'failover', which will enable your client to also exit connections via Tor. Although, hidden_service connections (.onion) never leave the Tor network.

- https://chainz.cryptoid.info/sdc/#!network

Remember that less connections are preferable over more connections, in terms of anonymity and privacy. 6 to 8 connections are probably optimal for broadcasting transactions.

Port 554 has been selected as it is a common Tor Exit port - see: https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/doc/ReducedExitPolicy - whereas the 'default' Shadowcoin port 51737 is not.

Cheers!

SDC / Tor users might also appreciate my ramblings here ; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=331077.msg16104604#msg16104604

Cheers!

Hi BitcoinFX,

We sure appreciate Tor nodes bridging the clearnet to the hidden net!
We have a few of our own actually, we should probably update the docs to include them, thanks for the notice.

Code:
addnode=shadow2b3ozvqmhm.onion
addnode=shadow3kdzs7v6is.onion
addnode=shadow5ea566kf2j.onion

You're always free to host your own, if you need funds to do so then the only option is to openly request it here with a BTC/SDC donation address attached to it.
I can't however guarantee any monetary reward for running the nodes, I'm sorry  Undecided

Ummm...  it would be better if people learned the difference between coins like xmr, sdc, dash, nav and so on.

Shadowcoin Tor addnode=.onion's have been updated to the current release v1.5.0.1

Thanks BitcoinFX!

For those weary of centralized exchanges, Shadow was added to the decentralized exchange Bitsquare not too long ago. It should be noted that coins that don't have active trading for 2 months will be removed as per the developer's requirement to host pairings. If the community provides enough support there we could request fiat pairings for SDC which would make entry into the market for new investors much easier.

Fantastic vtr99!

Btw, I created this giveaway and I'm not a dev. Just an active contributor. Smiley

The bounties are geared towards video reviews of Umbra and it's main features. The goal is to get video tutorials, reviews, excitement in the YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, etc platforms. There are also larger bounties for articles from crypto news centers and main stream news publications. Reddit style, steemit, etc posts and reviews are not eligible but definitely wanted.

I posted this on r/Shadowcash as well. https://www.reddit.com/r/Shadowcash/comments/52s8v2/community_sponsored_sdc_giveaway_focused_on_new/

You can pm me here or better yet on our slack @litebit. I'm rarely here.

I had a Slack account, but just don't mess with it anymore. I do check this thread fairly often, or can be reached on one of the Threema SDC threads.
Eventually maybe through the wallet chat.  Smiley I'm not a dev either, just doing my part to support the team, and a coin I strongly believe in.
One of the things that makes us so strong is our community, and those who are willing to contribute to SDC's success.
I'm more than happy to reward others who are working towards the same goal. Just getting the facts out there is our biggest obstacle. I have complete faith in the talents of this team.

I believe the price of SDC should be at least 10 times higher if everyone just understood the facts. I especially like the comparison chart Rusty made.

Spread the truth, not Hype or FUD!

I think it looks great but I has a couple of questions:

What is trust-less?
What does bitcoin compatible  mean exactly?

Sorry for the noob questions.

extremistan: I think what that table means by BTC compatible is the BIPs (bitcoin improvement proposal) can be implemented on the SDC blockchain (since it's a BTC fork) easily. Like BIP32 (HD wallet) was done

trustless is not having to trust any entity to do the right thing.

In Zcash for example you have to trust that it was set up securely without giving someone unlimited coins.

ATTENTION INVESTORS REFER TO THIS POST: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1618604.0

SDC is operated by a long running pump group. Recent rise and PR pump campaign with "UMBRA" was simply to pick up and capitalize on XMRS hype.

This coin will fall to 50k SAT or below as it has been for many years. Once the hype goes they will all dump on you all. SDC has done this many times before. Also in the post above I had assosiates from SIGNIANT check it out before XMR was reigned in...speaks for itself. This will never be used by real DNM vendors. Ever.

Putting his pathetic fud aside, this guy is a scammer. Last year I repaired his corrupted wallet.dat that contained more than 30k sdc. He promised me 2k sdc and dissapeared after I solved the problem. I'm pretty sure he is mad he dumped his coins at 30k satoshi. Cheesy It's okey scrub, move on.

That list is a community-run bounty set up by LiteBit, so it's not on the official website if that's what you're wondering.  Anyone can participate in it and anyone can create their own list of bounties too.  Smiley

I have no life and no money

Putting his pathetic fud aside, this guy is a scammer. Last year I repaired his corrupted wallet.dat that contained more than 30k sdc. He promised me 2k sdc and dissapeared after I solved the problem. I'm pretty sure he is mad he dumped his coins at 30k satoshi. Cheesy It's okey scrub, move on.

He's typical crypto trash. No different than any of the low life FUD packers we've seen come and go in the past. It's about time a Blazin8888 dox bounty is added to the bounty list. He'll be less prone to scam people if people know who he really is. You'd also be able to take him to court once his identity is revealed to recover your commission for recovering his corrupted wallet.

Edit: There's no need for a dox bounty. It turns out Blazin8888, formerly Blazin604 aka kingjohal from steemit aka Rajin Johal an East Indian from Richmond, BC who is now residing in Kirkland, WA is also a major steroid junkie.. that would explain his bipolar behavior. The roid rage is real. His license plate number is ACX1092 and VIN: 2C3LA53G86H321003.

Good luck pursuing this scam artist for your 2000SDC. Anything less than $5000 is small claims and you can file the claim in your local courthouse if you reside in the USA.

THIS IS RAJIN JOHAL - WARNING - I INJECT STEROIDS INTO MY ASSCHEEKS!!!

You should worry less about who is mad and worry more about yourself being exposed. It looks like the feds are looking for your relative Lakhwinder Johal. Was he your steroid dealer?
