We will be updating the Website and OP soon, we just want to get this new wallet out and running fine, the pre beta test threw up a issues staking and I'm sure you agree its best to get a working wallet out rather than rush and stall the chain. This new wallet is also key to our upgrade path to PosV3 as we have totally changed the code base behind the coin but we wanted to keep our chain working so we don't have to do a coin swap like many other coins have had to.
Once we release this first update, we will then publish a plan of action for the future, however we need have some discussions on PosV3 settings and if we want to change things like max coin. We'll start this conversation after the update.
Very good update, thanks! This conversation of regarding POSV3 wallet is mainly of how stakers are rewarded in future. Currently problem is that user can "cheat" by running wallet once a month to get rewards for their coins and close it after wallet has staked. This creates problem for network and block times become long and dont keep up with set block times. We have been now also running two years on 25% staking reward because of that. Batl wallet introduced this POS3V kind of staking already last year and now this will be implemented for new wallet after it succesfully has gone live on current network consensus. After that talks of how much per block of bits will stakers have is started. That is correct, I think the other discuss points are max coins (ie if we want to change it) and if we should work on a way to hide the coins that are not able to be spent (ie the batl burn coins), but we'll put up a list of discuss points once we're ready.

The subreddit has never been very active, with most of the conversation going on here and on the Slack channel, but the sidebar info which is a handy reference has been updated. Feel free to check it out here: https://www.reddit.com/r/bitstar/

I'd like to know why "listunspent" shows the same address several times? As I can see, the "scriptPubKey" parameter differs, but I don't know what it's all about... How can I have only once each address with "listunspent"?

They are individual inputs, there can be hundreds or even thousands depending on how many inputs etc you have.

I'm curious.
What is "BtlStar"? a new currency to support BitStar development?

Hi Bitstar Community! Let me introduce myself. I'm the wallet coder of Bitstar Coin. Bitstar_coin can confirm, as so can a couple of others that were in the Bitstar channel on supernet slack ( http://slackinvite.supernet.org/ ) last night ( GMT+1 ) when I outed myself as being the wallet dev. I thought it's about time I personally 'show' myself to the community, as we're facing a new phase of Bitstar. This is my attempt to open better communication towards you, our community. What we've been working in the last couple weeks / months: Researching and a lot of testing to replace the current wallet codebase with something new. Our goal was to swap the code, and keep the blockchain intact. As we didn't want to do any coinswap. A nice challenge, in which I am very confident we will succeed in. Current state of this new code base: The wallet completely syncs from scratch, and works with the current wallet.dat file. First phase success! Next is the PoS part. That's where we're currently working on, merging our current wallets' PoS code with the new codebase. Not fully functional yet, but we're getting close. And I'm going to keep you all updated on the progress. Meanwhile we're also working on a new website I can only say, we're working as hard as we can. For quick chats or 1:1, please join us on in the Bitstar channel on supernet slack ( http://slackinvite.supernet.org/ )

Sounds good to me! I hope that BTS be listed on Bittrex soon. When that happens, will invest heavily in your coin. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

The continued communication is appreciated.
Supernet should be like a collection of coins with similar ideas. If all supernet coins moved to sha256 and merge mined with BTC as SYS does then that ensures a continued strong network. The more wallets Supernet coins are in due to a merge mined situation the more exposure the project gets.
Just a thought, john

If switching to PoW I would not be sure on SHA, would be worried that only the rich commercial miners would be able to mine, maybe one of the alternative algorithms would be better.
