T3 and I both always have slack running and as far as I can see I've had no messages from him, supernet stopped working after they changed some code, so we're working on a new chain and codebase to swap us over. We'll contact them now to make sure they know we're still active
Thanks dev! I feel so reliefed!

Thanks dev! I feel so reliefed! We'll be running a test to the blackcoin codebase via an auto 1:1 coin swap in the next couple of weeks, this will give us the ability to sync with supernet, a fresh chain, omitted swap coins, and can tweek some parameters, eg staking.

That's brilliant! I know that will be a challenge to be sure, but man - that will do a LOT all at once. The challenge though is getting the word out to all users to update (once you've got it working). Any plan on that? A lot of users aren't active here, on slack, or reddit.

We'll try and send a update alert through the wallet. but they wont miss out on much by not upgrading wallet straight away as their coins will be there and ready once they load the new wallet (if everything in the test goes to plan) will update you all on this soon.

Hi, I copy paste what Javan Green said from Poloniex Support (Unfortunately I do not have an ETA for when this will be resolved. Know that we always aim to do everything we can to ensure these delays are resolved as promptly as possible - unfortunately though there are many things outside of our control that prevents us from doing so. ) So if you said like that, I want my money back , It is your company fault not to sync correctly to BITB blockchain, why not to test before this happened ?. BITS : 4793.47565879 2016-08-11 19:58:03 Address: BRADbCMw5QYzAcbhHufNphAhqWe62d8ziz Txid: 076e954a1e0479ebfb1e247ff8467f19cd5f42039bf3a01cebd68b2644ce3305 So anyone knows if you can now move coins from wallet to poloniex? I want to move some of my coins to poloniex and I dont want to lose them in the process. Has anyone sent coins from wallet to polo recently?

There has been strange behavior on polo yesterday when suddenly price rise over 2500sat and had heavy volume.. We saw same kind of thing happened last time when polo kicked heavy volume on bits. After that also occured bits wallet disabled on poloniex. And so it seems happened this time too... I dont know if that is some bot dooing trades or what...?

@Bitstar_coin I'm assuming at this point BitStar has completed it's second year, and we are now at 10% interest, correct?

Does not work. I put the files on my Bitstar folder overwriting the ones I had, I get an error. I started from scratch deleting everything except wallet.dat then copying the started pack files there and still get an error. Now I lost the progress of download I had (about 70%) and im back to 0%. Fuck this. How can I get this synced without having to download everything again? I spent like 5 days with my computer on all day, and I still was 70% only. No way im doing it all again from 0. The error I get is: "Error initializing database environment C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Roaming\Bitstar! To recover, BACKUP THAT DIRECTORY, then remove everything from it except for wallet.dat."

Thank you for that start pack, which works fine for linux, but... it seems I'm on a new blockchain now as I lost ALL of my BITS :-( $ bitstard getinfo { "version" : "v1.4.0.0-adgr-fs", "protocolversion" : 60010, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 1683098, "moneysupply" : 21696618.17575000, "connections" : 4, [...] "difficulty" : 0.94240725, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1432841078, "keypoolsize" : 102, "paytxfee" : 0.00100000, You can lose your bits only if you have lost your bits wallet.dat. If you still have original file copy then youre just fine. Usually when you have forked from main chain wallet will show wrong balance and when you manage to get back to main chain just typing repaiwallet to rpc console gets your original balance back. Hope this helps you! May also be worth trying repairwallet Im using the windows starter pack and I get the same error I described above and other guys got the same error too. I tried creating a shortcut with -repairwallet and I still get the error. This sucks. Now I have to leave my computer for an entire week on again if I want to access my coins... What version are you using @Bitstar_coin? my folder says: bitstar-qt-1.4.0.0-adgr-fs-srvc

My windows wallet works for a couple of times and then I have to resync the blockchain from scratch, otherwise the wallet pops out an error message. When I click OK the wallet closes.

So no one knows how to make the starter pack work? Tell me soon because otherwise I will not waste more time trying to make it work and I guess I will leave my computer on for an entire week and sync from scratch...

I've run mine 24/7 for over a year without issue, but I know some have difficulty. The blocktime is very, very short which is great for speed, but terrible for blockchain size.

I am now trying to use the new bootstrap (fast start pack) without success. I have deleted everything (moved wallet.dat to another folder). I open the wallet and starts syncing. I close it, I move the bootstrap into the bitstar folder and I get an error Error initializing database environment C:\Users\bitkokos\AppData\Roaming\Bitstar To recover BACKUP THAT DIRECTORY, then remove everything from it except wallet.dat
I have removed everything, even wallet.dat copied bootstrap files, started the wallet and gives the error.
I have removed everything, even wallet.dat did not copy bootstrap files, started the wallet and was OK. I stopped the wallet, copied the bootstrap files and restarted the wallet and it gave me the error.
Something might be wrong with the bootstrap.

Lets use the previous fast start pack. I think I used that one a couple of months ago and it was working. It's from middle July 2016. At least we won't wait for a week to sync https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=748045.msg15518389;topicseen#msg15518389Downloading....

Sounds like it. I know the developer has a lot on his plate. He was looking into a way to automate new bootstraps, so hopefully we'll get that eventually.

I am syncing from scratch. This time I will try to copy the entire Bitstar folder to another hard drive once it's finished syncing and test later if it can work.

v1.4.0.0-adgr-fs
I am at 53% syncing from scratch and I won't use the bootstrap as I don't want to risk having to resync from the beginning again.

That could explain it then, I created the fast start on v1.4.1.0-adgr-fs Will get a 1.4.0.0 one made shortly, will have to sync up first
