Don't have any Monero...just a quick question.

Can you mine this coin? I saw something about GPU mining but that may be from the past.

Also in folks view is it just the anonymous aspects of this coin that have helped cause the pump or is there other features of this coin in your view that also add to this

thanks just trying to put my toe in the water here and check this thread out...I need a starting point Smiley

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Not bold enough to say this going to bubble but moving averages showing signals of trend reversal.
ma10,20,50 having positive scope, ma10 crossed ma100 and ma20 is on its way.
Also the durations of MACD reds have declined and volume is increasing.

So from ta side I am happy to be long Smiley about fundamentals you guys have more information.

How did you get so many MA's on a Bitcoinwisdom chart? Very nice, I'd like to follow that...
Nice call btw.

Hey guys, tell me if I am totally off with my reasoning here: when Bitcoin was spendable mainly on Silk Road, and other dark markets, the higher it went was 32$, right? And then it went down massively. So at 15$ Monero doesn't seem much undervalued, to say the least. Or maybe some of you think the dynamic is entirely different this time and the two situations aren't comparable?

I could add 2 things here when comparing Bitcoin with Monero.

1. Quite many got their BTC really cheap. So they did not really care at what price they will sell since they made huge profit from basically nothing. Some maybe even get them as a gift. With Monero is totally different since price was relatively high from first week. those that hold XMR for over 2 years dont have even x10 profits so far.

2. People learned something from their mistakes.

Over 90K BTC 24h volume on Poloniex.  Will we see 100k again?

And there it is.

Bids getting a bit slower to fill in, depth a little thin at the front.  It all changes so fast though, that its tough to make a call from even the obvious signs.

Precisely. The exponential outbreaks that happened back then in BTC was basically unprecedented. Today they're not. People know what can happen...Sorry, will happen..

No problem.
I am happy that you are satisfied with the ROI.
That being said, I think there are changes it goes to 10 000 usd or more per coin. Bitcoin has not been able to do it but that doesn't mean we need to follow the path of Bitcoin in that sense. After all, bitcoin failed to grow partially because it was not anonymous enough.

Therefore, if you think like I think it is not too late to buy some more coins. Even 0.1-1.0 XMR is better than nothing if bought on constant manner like a robot without emotions.

Holy Mother of All Profit!    Shocked

Looking at the price this morning I'm dumbfounded. Was a great late night up swing.  Coffee is just hitting my brain and still processing the new price.  Glad I'm holding.  The only coins I have let go of are for Bounties and Development, and I bought a few of those Silver Monero Physical coins from Cryptonic just as a souvenir.

Thanks to everyone for making the Monero community great.  Feeling grateful.

feels a little dumb for shorting last monday. but still, rebought at 0.015 and still have profits stacked. all good tho i could have made more, its still fine for me.

those who dont need fund urgently, they should keep. those who need funds at quick speed, they should like me keep a few thousand xmr and short the profit only.

xmr is going to rally up to 100$ or something around that amount in a few months to a few years. which is still ok, considering i am talking about it now, where its under 15usd.

be wise. dont put your heart to your coin, instead make quick move and be profitable.

however, in all honesty, there is a long way for xmr to go. the acceptance of the market due to dark net is way too high and lots of vendors/sellers i heard we moving to full xmr.

however the code has not been fully tested like bitcoins has been during the past years.

the biggest fear i have for now is if some exchangers scam for xmr, its going to be butthurt to get the price back up.

so i urge all developper who can code, develop/ build applications over xmr system. make the coin last. as much as you can code, code for xmr. small, big, whatever you can do. start building the economy around it. it will be worth it in a few years.

those who say it wont last, or it will be dead, or its just a pump and dump. just remember the price of bitcoins from its start and whats the price of bitcoins now.

we all one way or another have complained not getting into bitcoins when it was easy to mine, or cheap, some even say 10$ was a good price to buy bitcoins.

what excuse do you have now?

I predicted at the beginning of the last pump, that it smells like a pump and it was a pump.
Same here now, just the price of XMR x5 from the last pump, and it gains much faster which isn't healthy.
Lets talk next week on the price topic of XMR  Shocked Grin

Something like Donald Trump bribe Mexican president in XMR so Mexican government decide to pay for the wall?

The funny thing is the second quote is more likely than the first.

Pumper whales are setting fire to tens of millions of dollars to trick us into buying their coins back from them when they drop in price?  Or some mega rich person is quietly taking a stake in monero on the weekends.

I don't actually believe either but the second is far more plausible.
