Just now setting up the Java development environment to build out the blockmarket helper app. Going to put 40 hours into it this week so it'll be ready by next weekend hopefully!
Java or Javascript? Using npm and bower?

Java or Javascript? Using npm and bower? Straight up Java. It needs to be a desktop app for win/osx/linux. Unless you have another idea?

What bitshares did was use qt as a wrapper to an angular js app to make it cross platform and minimize qt use.. only one file used qt and it opens up wallet in an angularapp using qt web component.. it solves the problem of using qt too much and using web development to do the job which is easier and more portable. So this is meant to work as a wallet where it will hold and sign your private keys or will it use rpc still? If rpc then why not just use node or another rpc interface and develop a web app?

So this is meant to work as a wallet where it will hold and sign your private keys or will it use rpc still? If rpc then why not just use node or another rpc interface and develop a web app? This is meant to work as a bridge between the existing qt wallet and the blockmarket website so that it is easy for people to purchase. I wanted to do it in java because that is probably the closest language to c# that I know of, so the learning curve wouldn't be as high. This also needs to be done quickly, and will be used for no more than about a month or so, as the Syscoin team is putting together v2 of the wallet, which will be a step away from QT (and its terrible developer experience) and move to HTML5/JS. At that point, RPC calls to the wallet will be trivial and will render my app obsolete. However, for launch it will be useful.

So no word on the mobile wallet? I was under the impression that it was awaiting approval, and... well... It's been a while. You guys can't just run a coin on 'spin' alone, and in no way after sending your ICO investors towards the door holding their backside. Ya'll got a lot out of a 5 BTC pump, and I watched it go right back out, but I think folks are getting wise. How much longer before what is in the back of everyone's mind comes forward? To remain in question so long is to confirm everyone's doubts. Some folks just take it to far I guess, and with such potential pissed away. I think you know where I'm going with this.

All that I can account for is what I've seen. Unfortunately, what has been promised here just hasn't ever panned out. Confidence is low, really low. and not without good reason.

Have a look on Twitter, Reddit and the last few pages of this thread: confidence in Syscoin has never been higher! There's so much in the pipeline to get excited about. I wonder if you're just trying to drive the price down so you can gobble up a few more cheap sell orders before this project really takes off ... I know I am

IRC is crazy active, as is Slack. That's where the action is. This thread is updated with info when appropriate, but the general atmosphere surrounding this coin can be summed up in one word: excitment!

Wore, yes syscoin has been affected past few months from the situation, but if you were active in IRC or Slack you'd know there is weekly team meetings, very proffesional, and active work being done in all directions on this coin, from marketing and development and even becoming better organized interally with collective. Most have been burned by scamcoins, but this is just not one of them. If you come to IRC chat and talk with us there, or slack where main action is, you'd see how much is being accomplished. This thread is updated, but as BTC talk is toxic most of us don't post here as much as elsewhere, and many are very busy working on projects about to be released. Have you noticed price increases? Well marketing and changing hands from weak to strong is in the process. You can see the syscoin changing hands to those that are clueless of what's coming to stronger hands.

I think it's worth pointing out to folks reading this thread (because both have been mentioned recently), that you can choose either IRC or Slack to catch up on general chat around Syscoin. The dev team has a bridge in place that mirrors IRC #syscoin chat to Slack and vice versa - no need to worry about missing "half the conversation".

24 BTCs to 500 sats/IPO price, not some unattainable mountain like some people like to claim. Earlier today it was only 20 , when vol increases and it will Sys can, i should say will pass IPO price in a day or 2.
