Has there been enough publicity for the Chinese? All the articles on the getgems website are Japanese for Asia. the Chinese thread on this forum is almost untouched as well. I know there are many on this thread who are Chinese but maybe a Chinese article or two would be good?

Right now to send gems you can type: 10 gem / 10 gems / 10 gemz / 10gem / 10gems / 10gemz - both caps and lowercase work. If you type anything before or after, the sending won't work. Right now to send bitcoin you can type: 10 bitcoin / 10 btc / 10bitcoin / 10btc - both caps and lowercase work. If you type anything before or after the sending won't work. Bitpay is moving to "bits", we agree its wise to add this function also ( http://blog.bitpay.com/2014/05/02/bitpay-bitcoin-and-where-to-put-that-decimal-point.html) I see, that clears it up. bits should indeed be a possibility. In the wallet screen right now there are 3 TIPs to help understand how to use the wallet: (1) TIP: Tap on the screen to change currencies (gems/btc) (2) TIP: To send 100 gems to a friend type 100 gems during chat. (3) TIP: Long tap on screen to copy your wallet address to the clipboard These tips are very handy for users. We are working to add that if you try to send gemz to a Telegram user he will receive a message to download the gems app. Well thought man, why did nobody came up with this idea, useful feature in spreading awareness to telegram users. Wish you could do this to whatsapp users aswell.

Does gems from January 1, will be available on bter.com? I asked a few times, but unfortunately no one did not answer me this question.
Wallet and tokens are planned for March 30, 2015. so don't hold you breath on any exchange.. https://twitter.com/getgemsorg/status/547787851107405824 30 december 2014Yes the app will be out at that time, but the wallet & token system will be release in the second milestone. First Milestone: iOS and Android basic release that supports instant messaging, push notifications, new user registration and login, contact directory and display the GEMZs wallet. Release server backend which supports both the cloud instant messaging and counterparty integration. Second milestone: Wallet and Token system - The wallet and token system will include user activity detection, pairing of inviters and invitees, airdrop calculation and GEMZs distribution. Initial Implement of fraudulent user activity detection algorithms. Implement GEMZs transfer. Don't know if the second milestone will be out earlier than mentioned now the Android OS is ready.

BTER and bittrex don't support any bitcoin 2.0 assets.. so don't expect gemz to be traded there.

If you sign in at Koinify, under trade Gemz you can see "Goto Melotic" and "Trade on BTer"

Found this on Koinify: 1. Pre-Sale: 50,000,000 GEMZ Available for purchase by the public during crowdsale, until sale end date or 3,000 BTC cap reached or 50m tokens sold, whichever happens first. Any remaining unsold gems will be sent to a verifiably unspendable address. After the pre-sale gems can be purchased through exchanges such as Bter, Melotic, Poloniex and Counterwallet. I'm not exactly sure what "such as" means. I think it means it will trade on these exchanges?

Bter only trade Nxt assets but we can convince them to try XCP assets with Gems (same for Poloniex I think). I don't know Melotic. IMO, you can theoretically already trade GEMZ on Counterwallet because you get your private keys in a file when you buy GEMZ on Koinify... so you can import your tokens. But someone from Counterparty needs to create or allow the asset first.

You mean you tried to import your private key in Counterwallet ? I don't think it can work at the moment because the asset must be created first on Counterparty by the asset issuer (Koinify) the asset is locked. http://counterparty.io/docs/assets/EDIT : The asset already exist.

I remember now. The asset already exist but is locked at the moment (as the sale is not over). Also, you can check your balance on the website you provided.

BTER and bittrex don't support any bitcoin 2.0 assets.. so don't expect gemz to be traded there.
BTER supports Counterparty XCP, which is essentially a counterpart asset. So, they certainly support counterpart assets. BTER also trades several NXT assets as well. I don't think it is a stretch for them to carry GEMZ, especially if there is a shown demand. And I think 2000 BTC's being spend on them is a good sign.

Even though I think that the design of the app is excellent right now, it seems like it is mostly focused on females. Now although this definitely isn't a bad thing, I believe that it would be great to have an option to change the theme in the app (even just being able to change the pink colour from the app to black should suffice). This is extremely important as I am sure that many males might be put off by the colour currently in use. Do you already have such a feature to change the theme/colour or would it be possible to implement it in the near future? Thanks
