Oke, this starts to look like a stupid joke.
Koinify, get your shit straight.
I confirmed with YES 3 times, and there are almost 24 hours since I did so.
My first 10 gemz withdrawal confirmed pretty fast.
I can't trade because of your paranoid/lazy kind of handling this.

Right now no. The only way to send GEMZ within the app is "on-chain" counterparty transaction which requires btc fee. In the future GEMZ will be settled offline to allow for speed, security and zero transaction fees. GEMZ will able to be withdrawn to any external counterparty wallet at anytime. |

It looks like gems wallet works like counterwallet.io, so the password is not leaving the device, should be pretty safe if you keep your phone encrypted and protected with password. Sure, if you trust the gems wallet. At least with the counter party wallet I can audit the code and use traffic monitors to see what is sent to the server. I have no way to do that with the app. Perhaps once a third party audits the code I would feel a bit better. The problem still with a mobile app is I have no way to know the code in the repository is what was actually used to build the app submitted to the app store. I'm just saying, be cautious. There is nothing wrong with having multiple wallets. Also, if you have a rooted phone you have to be extra careful. |

All withdrawals are processed, there defiantly was no 24 hour delay in approving and processing (at the time or writing, we haven't even had withdrawals open for 24 hours), we have a team around the clock 24/7 monitoring these. I'd suggest checking you sent it to the correct address, but there are no hanging or pending withdraws that ever sat in queue for anywhere close to 24 hours. I sent to Polo yesterday, it took 3.5 hours to hit my account. Its Poloniex, I have chats from the customer support team saying the "GEMZ network is very slow today"... whatever that means. Regardless, I had a similar experience with Poloniex yesterday. As for anybody else, you're being approved and processed when we see your 'YES' email. |
