Ask side is not moving. Looks like someone needed bitcoins fast.

might have been an accident, ive sold things way too low before with a slip :/

Perhaps, but I think that's unlikely. Hopefully GLBSE hasn't been hacked...

Sorry for the downtime, I got an email from a concerned investor, saying it looked like a hack.

Naturally this sort of thing scares the heebies out of me so I "turned off" GLBSE to investigate and stop and more potential hacks.

After investigating I found out who's account it was and called them, they just needed the coins.

Again sorry for the downtime.

Thanks for the prompt response, and much better to take GLBSE down to investigate immediately than risk a major hack.

If/when BFL comes with the ASIC and your singles/mini rigs will be swapped for something much faster, like 10 times faster.
Will you keep the bonds 5Mhash/s or will you upgrade them to a higher speed?

Hi pieppiep,

I am working hard to make sure gigaminers have one of the best mining bonds. Part of this is the move to a new location. More news will come once I have solid details / numbers / etc.

Best,

Good to now bough 14 shares and hopely more to come. Looks like a good and 'safe' investment to go into.

Still little bit scared what the reward halving will do but we will see  Cheesy

It's interesting to watch what's going on with the biggest bond currently on GLBSE.  Glad that the value drop incident wasn't a hack or anything like that.

To all gigaminers:

I am flying out this evening to meet all of the equipment this weekend at the new DC. I am SUPER EXCITED to be making this trip and will keep you guys in the loop as things happen. If you haven't seen the FPGA forum board recently, Inaba has confirmed the gigamining mini rigs are being built and put through their paces. More details and pictures to come over the next week.

I don't like keeping everyone in the dark about these things, but you never count your chickens before they've hatched.  Wink

Best regards,
gigavps

P.S. Monday's coupon payment will not be delayed at all as I will have an internet connection.

P.S. Monday's coupon payment will not be delayed at all as I will have an internet connection.

For those that may be worried, I have created insurance/surety bonds for GIGAMINING, tickers are HEDGE.GIGA.LONG and HEDGE.GIGA.SHORT on GLBSE.  They will go on sale today for 0.01 BTC per bond June 2, 2012 00:00 UTC.  IPO will be stopped after 72 hours.  All funds from both the .LONG and .SHORT bonds will be held together.  If GIGAMINING pays all its coupon payments on time then the .LONG bond holders will given all the funds proportionally.  If GIGAMINING fails to pay its coupon payments on time then the .SHORT bond holders will be given all the funds proportionally.

Please see the forum post for more information and direct any questions there.

Well gigavps could go short on this one and pay the dividends out a day later due to some technical difficulty's...

To all gigaminers,

Since I out here on the west coast, figured I'd get payments out right after midnight on Monday EST. Coupon payments have been paid.

Enjoy,

According to:

http://gigamining.com/mgpumon/

There is about 15Gh/s running. It looks like mostly BFL Singles. Are all of the other GPUs (still) in transit? Something like 26.5Gh/s worth?

And, by the way, a GPU is down and has been down for a while now.
