I'm not sure if there is anything that prevents them from sharing the secret. They could be playing themselves or sharing the secret. (I'm not saying they are but it doesn't appear to be as cheat proof as it appears at first glance)
There site says: "We don't release them right away, since they could be used to submit selective transactions and win bets unfairly." They know the secret and that in itself is a risk. Even if it is a small one.

Unfortunately fireduck does not seem interested in discussing this at this time, so it shall remain in pending until people are satisfied the game is fair.

Quote from: fireduck
So my answer is that yes I could share the secret. That would be analogous to me giving away my bitcoins. I could certainly do that, but if I were inclined to do so I could simply give them away without the added complication.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

.

.
A year ago this month a forum member named doood started a thread for his gambling site bitcointoss. Within a month he changed his forum nickname and also posted that he was no longer supporting the site

Bitcoin Toss - Flip a coin and win double your entry!

"As of now, I am no longer supporting this site"

After the first post below the next three post contain quotes from his original nickname "doood"

A year later bitcointoss and other sites of concern are consuming coins from trusting players. Those that lose may send more coins and try again and those that win wait for there coins to be sent back, but soon find that none are being sent, and then they find many other player with the same story

Attempts have been made to question wat is going on but with little contact information being provided if any on the sites there are very few details to assist in getting any answers.

Still dispensing addresses to anyone that request and still consuming coins from trusting bitcoin patrons

doood aka Alex Beckenham aka STIFF has yet to respond

l

The post above shows dooods quotes now showing as "Alex Beckenham" after changing it that day or the day before. Then he states  he is no longer supporting the site. The post below he made two months later and that account hasn't been active since. His sites however are still running and been getting free adverting and support from the forum all year long

Sites like these are not offering enough details or contact information to even consider risking coins. They are stiffing people that are winning coins. How can they be trusted to run a fair game. Have to watch out for -EV prior to ever even gambling.

I'm not quite sure what kind of criteria you are using. Your choices are possible scam or mathematically proven?

For example http://betcoin.eu has been around a while. I imagine maybe the operator got bored and just let it run on it's own. Who knows, maybe he'll be back in this forum again (I think it's been a while since he signed on). But is it a possible scam? It's possible. Likely? Who knows. I guess that get's at my question about the criteria. I know exactly how to make a program that works exactly like http://betcoin.eu but can give fake payouts to me every so often. That doesn't make http://betcoin.eu a scam though. But proven?

i think the same about bitcointoss... sure there's no admin around but i've been paid the two the small bets i've won. seems harsh if there's just some error on the site to call it a scam if the admin's away.

How many more coins must be scammed by this stiff? Let him come speak for himself. As I don't see this happening any post of doood tagged "Alex Beckenham" need to be and should of already been deleted. Every coin that these stiff sites scam players out of are coins that legit sites will never see.

Seals is very newbie friendly. Freerolls (prize awarded but no charge to play) every hour on the hour and cheap tournament runs on every half hour usually with 10-20 players.

Today at 4pm ET is a 100BTC guaranteed prize pool tournament too btw.

Also the Weds DonkDown free roll, will that be a regular thing now?

No promise, but no plan to change.

The 60BTC guarantee on Sunday at 6pm ET will hopefully be a regular thing too. 2BTC to enter.

No, rakeback period ends after the tourney, midnight ET Sunday. It comes by Wednesday, but in reality often early Monday.

But there are new 4 person 'Satellites' to the Sunday 60BTC. If you win you get the 2BTC entry, but you don't have to use it for that.

Moreover, we have lots of happy players around the forums who you can ask about our service.

*unasked*

StrikeSapphire is just an overall feelgood(tm) place. As to noob friendly (I'd have to start a separate thread for Sapphire praising) they're indeed. It's a proper site with all the info in the right place and a good user interface.

It's where I finally learned to play craps, actually Wink

added.

Also a very large reformatting of the list - now listing games.
Sites that have both casino and card games are under both casino and cards lists.

thank you for adding bc casino to your exclusive bitcoin gambling list!

great idea and surely helpful to players to get a global overview of the bitcoin gambling world.

keep on the great work and maybe extend the criteria list with more player relevant information i.e bonus amount given, US players accepted, instant automated deposit and cashout...
