First, I want to meet anyone who buys this unit. It will make no money at all, ever (unless bitcoin shoots up very high), so what's the point? Go out to your big box store and buy a heater, it's the same thing. BTW, those fans in the front are THICK, and believe me those types of fans are not quiet. I have them in my other no name miner, the scream like a 747 Jet taking off. Good luck... The only game in town I see right now is buying used miners from people who are tired of mining.

One aspect that I like is the $200 coupon for existing S2 owners, with the intention to still have an upgrade in future (S6 kit?).
Although, this price should be the base price for everyone to be honest. Then this would be worth a gamble to some, rather than an instant 'no thanks' at the current prices.
BITMAIN - Please rethink the additional postage charge at the very least!
post age really i know how that works you can bet they have a deal on how they ship i have bought a lot of stuff from china and the shipping was unbelievable low to me. then i found out they made some kind of deal with US custom etc etc same ol thing . |

If you want real buyer drop the price considerably.
After adding Shipping Charge(16KG) and Import Duty this will come to around $2000.

If I buy 1 price is 3.528 + .103 to ship to USA I am trying to figure out hosting option. okay seems that the .103 btc is to ship to the hosting data center 11 cents a kwatt to host. seems that shipping to the usa is free so 3.528 btc to the USA price is too high for me either way. good luck to all buyers!   |

I have contact them before. They just only accept "US" buyer, not international.
And buyer need to make a label and send to them, that is restricted to the US buyer.

Whats the average shipping cost to eastern USA? well i found a while back its not what they say they do have a deal with customs and the US as to cost etc . 1. Cash cost
a) Mining device sales price. This is the most obvious cost.
b) Shipping cost. Shipping cost is trick, different shipping service will have different shipping time, and it will influence the time cost discussed in 2. Time cost.
c) Incremental investment on PSU
d) Tax: Some miners will have to pay VAT or other import tax.
2. Time cost: We can estimate the time cost based on the projected gross mining revenue during the waiting time.

With the current exchange rate of 411.8 USD, shipping costs to California is 0.391. That brings the grand total to 3.912.
I went through the process (without buying of course) to find out what the total would be.
That's just crazy.
