Linux wallet is not possible to sync. Tried many things, but nothing helped. Headers sync stuck on 37%. Also the development of wallet is almost non existent. I may have to sell the coins and leave project as I'm not capable to have a wallet on Linux.
There's a new wallet in development. It's not been released yet. You can always use Coinomi if Linux is being finicky. It's available for both android and iPhone. You can and should save your private key from Coinomi. There's a write up somewhere to get the wallet compiled and working on a raspberry pi also, as well there should be an option to reload the blockchain in the wallet app which will download the current block height. Thank you. The wallet for android is not going to help me as I'm running the wallet for staking, but I tested it and it has nice support for many coins. That may come handy. Is there any ETA on the new wallet release? I will hold to my coins without staking until the new wallet is out. I just saw your earlier issue, if you are compiling the linux wallet make sure you use version 2.1.8 from the solarcoin-legacy github, last time I checked the solarcoin wallet is in active development and may not fully sync right now https://github.com/onsightit/solarcoin-legacy

It's true Solarcoin won't actively stake in Coinomi, however they do accrue stake time while not staking. When you import the private key from Coinomi they should begin to stake at an accelerated rate until the coin age hits an equilibrium. Notice I said "should." I have noticed extracting the private key from Coinomi can be a challenge. I'd experiment with a small amount until you can operate the extraction with confidence.

I have have kept the wallet open at times for some days but I have NEVER got any stakes.

Then I should give it another try, since I have a bit more than that. How much coins do you get on average with a stake? Or is is a fixed amount?

Four days now with the open wallet and several thousands coins of stakes and no stakes collected so far. At the same time, the staking icon inside the wallet is telling me: expected time to earn interest: 4 minutes. That's a bit strange...

Hey guys, any ideas of if SLR going to be listed on any other exchanges other than just Bittrex? Feels like a waste to have such a good coin only on one exchange.
Binance/Kucoin/Youbi/Bithump/Bitfinex/Upbit etc etc.
So many that can only benefit SLR! Bittrex is great, but it's volume all year has lacked and it holds 98% of total volume.....it really needs more listings!

It should work just takes time depending on your amount you stake. Average rate is 2% a year.

Match the current wallet block to the blockchain. If they don't match, rescan your wallet. Sometimes the wallet gets a little odd when it restarts.

Jokes apart I'm still thinking at the tens of thousands of SLR (most of the coins I had then) which I have lost in 2014 in the collapse of Allcrypt. Is anyone in the know if anything was ever recovered from that hack?

I think that most of the altcoins really have nothing significant to offer like solarcoin does.

Oh, I think that someone was really anxious to dump their coins even with the crazy influx of new buy orders.

Thank you!! I think it's great that you list the SLR price in USD rather than BTC. The important links, Reddit, and Twitter feed look great. The "News" links at the bottom all seem unrelated to SLR though.
