Nice My electrical company FINALLY figured out my bill.  Dec 8 to Mar 7  18762 kWh   Mar 7 - Apr 8  was 7974 kWh  Grand total of 26 736 kWh

Problem is they lied to me what the rates were for all them other fees..  so what I thought was going to be around 7-8 cents ends up being 10-11.5 cents.

4 months it took them to get this convoluted math.  Yet I am still puzzled at the 7974 kWh for the one month, becuase each s9 uses 11kwh x 6 = 6600, and the 650 - 700 i use for everything else should only be 7200.  So this mysterious 700-800 kwh more may be a bad meter.  ITS OLD.  I thought it would be reading less.

So Yeah, now I have a 3200 dollar bill all at once.  PRICKS.  The preauthorized max for credit cards is 2500, so the whole bill cannot even be paid hahah.

 Grin

My electric company still hasn't figured out mine yet - still billing me ~$200 a month, instead of $2000

My automatic payment max limit set by them/bank is $1500

Gonna be a bitch when they figure this out ...

I told them there is a easy solution...  when your algorithm flags my reading as wrong, call and I will say, yes that is expected, and then you bill accordingly right away instead of pissing me off with this 4 months later.

I should of taken the advice I was given by someone...........

" There must be something wrong with the meter,  I am not using that ,much power.... "  then move the miners elsewhere until they give you the " new bill" and then move them back when the smoke has cleared.

I'm hoping "4 months later" BTC price > $12,000 ...

Ok, so I'm surprised that after changing from 88 blocks to 108 blocks, the top block is till 90.24% for luck. Is it because only the top 100 are relevant even though it shows 108?

It's "100 (Block) Luck%"
So at 'that' block what is the last "100 (Block) Luck%"
It's not related to the web page size Smiley

If you're on a budget billing average system with your power company, they will send you a bill at the end of the budget-payment-period for the amount that was not 'budgeted' for and expect a balloon payment. Had that happen once. Never again. LOL
Thank god for solar and the fed and state incentives. Not me, but many people can give the power companies the middle finger so they can all go EFF off.

I just happened to look at the minergain home page comparing Kano and slush.  They are 3EH now but the returns for the week is almost double with Kano - even with a couple longer blocks.  Kano has had 24 blocks since 3/25 and the other had 588.  It is amazing the impact the pool hash makes on the earnings for each block.  So I for one will always Mine On with Kano!

Given that Slush uses a 1.5 hour calculation for hash submission and average block time seems to be > 1.5 hours ... a lot of hash seems to just contribute to global warming

Edit:

24 Hour average:
Calculated hashrate from block solution rate: 3.0EH
Reported hashrate from Slushpool: 3.2EH

Don't think it's new - when mining with Slush your effective hash rate is approximately 5% less than actual, and then add another 1.1% in fees.

Funny I noticed this lower hash rate too with the exact same S9's .... I was a bit skeptical...  it was good in the feb dry spell, but I came back.  They started to lose luck too after I left, and its never been the same.  Tough this mining....  the grass seems greener on the other side, but it actually just had more cow manure..... :-P

Hey man sorry to hear. If you want to post in the bitcoin>mining>support, or in this thread, someone will be able to help you troubleshoot through everything.

The linked thread is a troubleshooting/setup guide by Haggsfin he was trained at the Canaan head office. Wherever you post give as much info as possible. Starting from how you are powering the Pi, right up to the colour you see on the 841 as well as the AUC. Info like your power supply and voltage of the circuit are good to have as well.

Good luck

Edit: Just don't want to gum up the pool thread; Mine On

Spoke too soon - they came over just now to confirm the electrical load (48A) total

Had to change the meter so all miners offline for a few hours.

Thank God for 5Nd!
