~  Maybe I had an isp outage @ 5:24 and the miners were just trying to connect anywhere they could and happened to hit pool #3 when the internet came back up?
The failover code in the miner is full of all sorts of fail.
I've seen miners that failover to pool3 instead of pool2 when there's nothing wrong with pool2.
(and it takes 5 minutes to work out that a pool is alive again ... yawn)

I have one Ant that frequently tells me that NYA is dead. Miner next to it, on the same network (duh), NYA, US, and NL are all alive. Check it 3 minutes later, it's all good.   Huh   Angry  Roll Eyes

There's only one thing to do:

Mine on!!!

Coining bits since 2017
Kano Pool is the BEST BTC mining pool.

Amount too small = dust = less than 10,000 satoshi - that was simply hard coded for the payments page.

I'd guessed the *00 and *000 amounts per block were too small to get paid out with the next block mined - will they just sit there until the total is > 10,000 sats (mine has been for a while) or until the next block has my %age/shares totally > 10,000 sats ?

They will sit there until kano finishes writing his new accounting code.

Woot!!! Another sub-100!!!  Great work, zuraBTC! Most definitely a great way to kick off a l-o-o-o-n-g BTCig BTClock Weekend!!!

The impatient ones don't think to whine about the long blocks now - they have their fix for the moment.

Personally, I'm new to crypto & mining; been doing it less than a year. When I came in, it was with one rule - don't put any more funds into it than I can afford to give away.
I started mining at Kano Pool at the beginning of February's BTClock of Death. I wasn't planning on that, but I mined on.  Smiley  The BTClock we just minted justified my decision - if you take all the shares I've submitted, add them up, and run them against any other pool, I received more rewards here than I would have at any other pool.   Only one caveat - past performance cannot predict future earnings.
So, I may not like it, but I don't have a problem with 500% block.

What's a good failover?

I currently have it in order:
:3333
:80
:81

but the :81 is showing dead.

It was suggested to me to fail over to different nodes; i.e., I run pool 0 NYA, pool 1 US, pool 2 NL, instead of ports on the same node.

Edit: It's not worth the trouble for me to fail over outside of Kano, especially since the likelihood of three nodes being down is almost nil.

This is the way I like to do it also but my miners are on the west coast so it's US (STRATUM) 1st, NYA 2nd, and JP is the 3rd fastest for me.
