Since we've now found 77 blocks since the pool started, I'm going to setup a little prize for lower THs miners (above 800GHs but under 50THs) for one person to win between now and when we find block 100. There will be absolutely no confusion or issue about the prize unlike other pools have had, once I post the full details soon ... sounds fun ... hope the prize is a coupon I can use with my electricty supplier It will be an SP20 sent direct from Spondoolies. Niiiice. Can't wait to see the details! Let's have a little fun while mining!

No difference since it's the shares that get paid one or more times, not the hash rate. The explanation of the 'build up' is to explain why the payout starts off lower. The details of that are that each share has a chance of being paid multiple times in the past 500% and if you own those shares that's all that matters. If the share exists for the full 500% then of course it's chances of getting multiple payments are higher. ... and I just read that again and realised that last line doesn't make sense at all Of course all shares exist for 500% The correct statement is that as you have more shares in the last 500% then you will get more per payout. If you have mined for 1/4 of that 500% then your peak shares in the 500% is of course 1/4 of the maximum. Once you have mined the full 500% then your share of the total payout will have reached it's maximum for your hash rate. Each share itself still gets paid what it can, but your total shares (in the 500%) determines your % of the reward. If you own shares under different accounts, it's still the same sum total payout to your address or addresses.

Hi Kano,
It's an honor for me to be using your pool, thank you.
I have an Antminer C1 and BitCrane T110-S with an Antminer S3+ arriving next week.
In the "Workers/Management" section (I am registered), there are fields to set the minimum difficulty.
Should I leave these fields at "0" or "1024" as I set them as?
Thank you.

jrobb i'm stealing a ck post from his solo thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=763510.msg10075486#msg10075486"Difficulty is just an arbitrary way of describing the work you're doing. It doesn't make your mining hardware work any harder, less hard, more efficient, less efficient or anything like that." i set it to 0 and let the pool tell me where it wants my rigs.

0 (or less than 42) means whatever the pool decides. Any higher value means: use that value if it is larger than what the pool decides - otherwise it still uses the value the pool chooses. You normally don't need to adjust it unless there's a problem with the mining hardware. The adjustment doesn't affect your payout unless the mining hardware can't handle certain values properly. S3 is ok with any diff, but I don't know the details for a BitCrane. C1 should be OK on default also.

Hi.. Kano... Seems very nice with your price... But not every country can accept delivery from israel such in my country in indonesia. How to solve this? Because you say it's delivered direct from sp. Tq

If the winner can't take delivery of it, we'll have to skip them and go with 2nd/3rd/4th/... on the list until someone can. The winner can have it delivered to a friend or someone else - that's up to them. Obviously, also, if the winner is an address miner, they'll have to sign a message to identify who it goes to. Again, I'll put up the details soon, there are of course a bunch of issues that will be decided in the details (or decided later if anyone comes up with other issues) Payout 338201 sent and confirmed

As a C1 owner I can tell you leaving it at "0" gives 1.02K on the miners end. Pool is a great one.

When you login to a username account, you will see 1 or 2 numbers below your username at the top right. The 1st number is your 5min hash rate - very dynamic The 2nd number is your 1hr hash rate. If you only see 1 number, that means you haven't been mining non-stop for an hour yet.

Be patient and you won't regret it. I moved here from slush over a month ago and have no regrets.

The pool speed is growing ... just over 4,000THs as I write. Thanks for the VERY regular and punctual payouts Kano.

Yeah the pool speed determines the "regular" part - the bigger it is the more regular the payouts 'should' average

You don't lose that difference in payout amount in the build up from the start. It's simply that each share gets it's full payout in all blocks found in the 500% after the share was submitted. So your first share submitted is fully paid by the time the pool has reached 500% after it.
