Still having some trouble with the pool.
A few ups and downs, but as long as ckpool doesn't get stuck, it always restarts it 9 seconds after it happens.

... but not stopping us from finding blocks at all!
Web page shows the last 42 blocks at 67.53% which is like ... amazing luck.
67.53% = sum of shares received for each block / sum of each block network difficulty
100% would mean we average at the expected average.
67.53% means we've found the 42, roughly 1.5 times faster than expected

But yes I do sleep ... a least a few hours a day Cheesy
Since at least some of you liked that last competition, especially the winner I'm sure, it seems like we may be able to run another one shortly from another supplier, this time with 2 of the same prize ... will put up details very soon.

Nice!  That will be good for the pool hashrate thus not only the winner.  That's a good way for the pool to stand out from the others.  Thanks!

My bad. Every time I tried to pull in my new changes it eventually gives up the ghost. I've gone with a safe set of changes only now so hopefully that should restore the stability miners deserve.

There's been a couple more ckpool restarts, but all has been fine since ckolivas post above.

Normally a ckpool restart should either mean just a reconnect message in cgminer or a failover to your backup pool and a "fail back" within 5 minutes - that's how long cgminer will wait before "failing back" if it failed over to another pool.

Not having anything like you're talking about here personally.  Miners run hot, that's what they do, do you think kano's pool is somehow making your miners run hotter?

So that makes for the current 1000 blocks (339nnn) we have 14/553 = 2.5% Smiley

The pool luck has been extraordinary. I can't help but wonder if all of the restarts some how effect the work sent to our miners.
We sure seem to work on productive hash.

I prefer to think it is just well written software!

Thanks for running a great pool.

My S3's are running 108-117 F (42-47 C), and my S4 is at 133 F (56 C).
Considering ambient temps where they are is about 77 F (25 C), I think that is pretty good.

The last couple days have been a fun ride!  Grin
