The DE testing tomorrow (about 12? hours) will require a ckpool restart.

It's midnight here now, so I'll post again in the morning once I've worked out when everything will be ready.
I'll give/post at least an hour's notice before the restart.

ckdb will not be restarted - ckpool will.
That will mean a reconnect in your miners and hopefully only a small % of failovers.

i still have an dusty apple dev license i keep around for sentimental reasons.
i'll dust it off and chuck together a prototype for the app store by end of month. 
this is a good enough cause.  esp since i would like one too.
