It's nice seeing more new miners have pointed their gear here.  Thanks for pointing them here.  Spread the word...

If you stick around, I believe this pool will prove itself worthy to live here.  Patience is key...

Gotta say the Best thing i did was to switch over to this pool.!

Only been here 5 days or so, and its already better Then all the other pools i tried.

Now we just Need evryone Else to do the same thing  Cheesy

Edit: and if you or anyone Else find A solution to point my asictubes at this pool it would be great Grin ck hasnt answered my post yet so got no clue if its possible some other way.
I've added a 'nonce' proxy that should work with the Asicminer tube - thanks to -ck for coding it Smiley

Could you try on: stratum+tcp://nonce.kano.is:27181
and let me know if all is OK or not?

They'll show up in your account as your username without a worker name.

Thank you, i dont read for a few days and boom. Funny this happened 2 days ago.

At first it did not work, when i put a Virosa.workername. It would submit share but they were not being credited to my account. Then i removed the .workername and it works.
I'll let these run and report if it works or if it still crashes.

Thanks Kano and thanks -ck for coding it in. Smiley

It will work with a worker name, but it will show up under your worker list as your username without a worker name.
It also can take a minute to do the switch to working properly.

I've added the details stratum+tcp://nonce.kano.is:27181 to the opening post and the pool front page just now also.

Workernames work, it's just that they get stripped off and everything gets credited to the username worker only. It also takes approximately 3 minutes after connecting them for them to start mining properly as the proxy does its magic to sanitise work for them.

Old is anything older than you, so I am never old.  Wink

In all seriousness, I am probably on the lower side of the old line. Depends on what the definition of old is.

Old is when you use a 56.6k modem handshake for your phone notification tone, and you'd way prefer it to be from a 9.6k modem because it would sound 'right'.

Ah, yes, those ATDT-times with my Sinclair :-)

I really like this pool. But I'm concerned about my profit. At 20th what would be a estimated payout per block? Some how I keep getting different calculations. And currently I have half my gear pointed else where so I can cover my daily electric cost which is only about $4 as a lot of my miners are on free power

your hash rate divided by pool hash rate will give you the percentage of your payout of the 25 btc block if you are fully ramped up when a block is found.
We are coming up on the second 40 hour stretch between blocks. I need a drink of wine with a chicken avocado sandwich.

What was meant by "fully ramped up" is that you have been mining for 5 blocks on average.  Even though this has been explained many times, I think (speculation) most people dont understand the payout and that is why there is very little hashrate here.  They mine for 24-36 hours and say my first payout stinks I am gone.  Even after I read the payout plan I still had to ask if I was understanding it correct.

The 5xNd, means that when the pool finds a block they divide the reward by 5x the number of shares required to find a block (on average) - (It is actually 5x network difficulty Nd)

So, if the pool finds blocks at 100% average luck (no good or bad luck), (actual 100% luck is less than 24 hrs), but say kano pool on average 100% luck = 1 block per day for everyblock, and the find a block at midnight 00:00.  so lets say you start mining at midnight 01, 00:01,
Payout day one 20% average
day 2 = 40% average
day 3 = 60% average
day 4 = 80% average
day 5 = 100% average

Then you turn off your gear and stop mining, you will continue to get payouts:

day 6 = 80%
day 7 = 60%
day 8  = 40%
day 9 = 20%
day 10 = zero

If Kano pool had 50TH, then the pool 100% luck would hit 5Nd, in 9 to 10 hrs.

I dont understand why more hashrate is not here, I mean, 95% of all asic are running CKgminer.  100% transparent, wonder about anything going on, they give a full report with all technical details.

I'm running ~20THs and here is what I've gotten over the past 13 blocks...as I reached my 5Nd, it was 0.148 but that is also when the pool hash rate started exploding.  With the current pool size, 20THs should be ~0.11 on each block for you.
