Its a lot worse than it appears, rentals stopped submitting shares between 4am-6am EST. Yet btc was draining as if all was normal. Caught it at 7:45am EST. Notified Nicehash immediately, now its at a freeze, but better get those hours of btc back. Going to have pool owner run reports and check exactly when it stopped submitting shares to ensure appropriate btc amount refunded. (My rental was placed around 11pm EST on westhash)
Great, thanks for the update Smiley
I love how kano pool members have each other's back Smiley
Excellent.

I had the same problem and it's not only SHA256 rentals but my Script and X11 rentals have the same issue.... and can't cancel the rentals too.... what bad timing on my 5ND.... it was packed so nicely.

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

After looking at historical charts on my main pool, things went haywire roughly 6am EST. BTC was still draining til about 9am EST. Nicehash owes 3hrs of hash time that btc was draining and no shares submitted. Another email sent to them showing screenshots for proof.

It seems that the NH dam has burst and the hash flows forth...the kano pool will see a surge in hashrate!  Of course, there will not be any explanation from NH...we have the only operators that take the time to communicate with the people!

That's quite a tidy sum of BTC owed to everybody by NH.... yikes.

Crap, there goes my 5nd.

This is making me cringe but if this nicehash order belongs to anyone here on kano you really need to reconsider.

S #1073441 0.0500 5.00

This order is costing you 0.25 BTC per day ($100 USD) and will only earn 0.015 BTC per day ($6 USD).  I know you probably wanted to set a rental at the top so it doesn't get bumped but you could do the same thing with 0.0050 and you're not giving away so much BTC.  It looks like you didn't type enough zeros when you manually put in the price.  I know it's only a 5TH order but that's a lot of BTC for only 5TH!

Just got a support e-mail response saying order refunds are processed automatically when they're closed/finished. Might be some hope after all?

Getting OT here but NH did acknowledge an outage on twitter. https://twitter.com/NiceHashMining/status/706127476368482305

Maybe if we all tweet them they will refund our BTC?

This is why this is the BEST DAMN POOL in the universe.  People looking out for other Pool mates by bringing up issues as they happen as well as potential human errors like fat finger price, etc.  If you're using NH, be very careful and monitor your money very closely.  You know what I'm talking about.  You can set limit of say 200TH and they won't even care, if there's 400TH available, they may dump that much for you and just drain your wallet faster.  NH is a necessary evil for our pool growth but rent wisely, remember pool luck have to be at 104% just for you break even  (3% fee for NH and almost 1% for Kano).   On top of that you get these outages, bugs / scams that can draw your money even faster.  I hope you guys get your money back.

I always question if they're constantly scamming us.  Here's the issue I find often and why I don't use them as much anymore.  If you rent from NH, you clearly see this.

1) Hashing Limits - Doesn't seem to matter, if there's low demands they will squeeze more than what you need to everyone.  I don't mind a few TH which may be say 1 extra miner, but they can pack hundreds of TH extras depending on what your Limits is set at.    Check the different limits and you will see what I mean on low demands days.  This is not fair as they are charging you for it and are milking the crap out of your wallet.

2) Fix price supposed to have highest priority but often times you see Fix price not filled even halfway to their limits even though it's set at a ridiculously high price say .005 vs market rate of .003 while they have plenty of extra availability and someone at .0025 getting Petahash worth.  You also see at times, people with much lower price set but they are filled way above their limits, while others at much higher rates are either not filled or barely filled.  It's supposed to move  the hashing to the higher price players and taking away from the lower guys.  Some days this works as advertise, other days, it does not.  It makes me wonder if they put higher preferences for their own accounts that they are mining to get even higher than 6% profit (3% from buyer and 3% from renter).

They're definitely a great PPS for a failover pool for KANOs due to the above 2 issues.  All the little cheating may be helping them drive above market rates to attract more hashing sellers.  I often time get way above 10-20% reverse renting to them.

Is there an easy way to see our current 5ND Payout average?  Right now the shift graph shows our average but it's for a much larger window.  What I want to see is my rough current payout average should a block hit right now.   My averages fluctuates too much so it's much harder to guess.

you wont see what you could get paid but your average is shown by the redline.
