Ohh.. Thought he said his address was : 15awcsvGd2xyVwab5eq1RSGfzG8ESY9Vf5
that is where he sent it. I sent to that address when I fund my bittrex account so I was aware that he is most likely not lying and simply fucked up. Maybe it is a good fuckup for him. When I read stories like his I usually do something like this. One time it worked and a block was hit on the very day coins went to 500 usd last year. The amazing thing is I did a 30 hour rental someone saw what I did and point his s-7 at the same address ie mine and said if it hits split the block ⅓ each. 2 hours after my rental he hit the block with his s-7 so the guy that was screwed coins got 8 I got 8 the guy with the s-7 got 8 to make things better while we waited for block to confirm coin price went from 390 to 499. I cashed my 8 coins at 492 each. maybe some of that lightening hits here Hi Phil, yes was a nice Block Hit last year ... unfortunately our second try for "wmtomsolino" (i think that was his avatar) wasn't same as lucky ... i think he didn't needed the Coins So, what do you think? should i step in again, your decision if, and how to split the Coins after we hit, we will for sure Awaiting your reply! In case you say yes, how many hours left from now to catch that Block? (i mean when will your rental finish) Best Wishes! Fingolfin P.S It was 3 x SP20 + 1 x S7 ... and an SP 20 hit the Block ... Also i only wanted 4,5 Coins for my step in, but i was fine with your decision to split by three. P.P.S. Side Note : Yes, you have to eat chicken guys ... look at that 502% Block

Are you guys seeing that many fail or delayed transaction that it justify changing from the default fees? If he used the Quick send with Blockchain which is the default, this would never have happened. I shouldn't assume that's the wallet he used but most wallets operate in a similar manner. I've send hundreds of transactions with Blockchain.info and Coinbase and maybe only a handful have been delayed for a few hrs or so but never any issues. Increasing the fees would requires you to go to the Custom section and there's a review section before you hit send again so I'm not sure why the operator didn't catch this.
I agree, it's really messed up that the wallet company does not put a CAP on the fee as a percentage and allow something ridiculous like this to happen.

Tough block. At least its looking like the next difficulty change will be a decrease (or at least very close to 0) for once.

No, it's not a natural outcome, it's purely the results of pools being coded by shit quality coders. Luke-Jr started with empty blocks coz his pool code is so shitty and he gets so many orphans. Bitmain and F2Pool continued the idea to generate the empty blocks even before verifying they are fully valid. What do they gain? Eligius - NOTHING - they are slower than us. Their pool code sux. SPV - a few hundred milliseconds - our block processing time is ALMOST NEVER over 1 second - it's usually around 300ms or less. The only natural side of it is the fact that when you let shitty programmers near code, they produce crap to overcome their lack of ability.

I guess what i meant is that folks would naturally find hackish shortcuts to overcome local shortcomings rather than rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty.
