I can login fine, no problems seen here...  Huh

Edit- sure you're using the correct Username, not Workername, right?

I am using the correct username. I filled in the password reset form to see if maybe I had the wrong password but have not received a message yet.

Edit: It might just be my email, as I've also tried logging in to my Blockchain wallet and the verification email hasn't come for about 20 minutes now

This came up a while back and as I recall some free mail servers like hotmail and maybe gmail had erroneously put the domain our mail comes from on a spam mail blacklist and would not accept messages from the pool. If you are a using a free mail account I would suggest another email addy.

I think that's what I might have to do, as the email still has not come. My email address is through my ISP however it shouldn't take this long.
Edit: The reason I was unable to log in had something to do with uBlock Origin being enabled. Once I disabled it, everything seems to be working fine.

Shipping off two units (721 and older 741) to Oregon...and two new 741s on the way in for the home front (that's all the amps I've got). We should be at 35TH by end of month.

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

Sure...it went something like "Sure! About two years from last Tuesday..." I'm not holding my breath.

So long as spot doesn't tank, the 7's are quite profitable in OR...those are my partner's machines...even an A6, actually. He's going to be retiring to VA in a couple of years. We're getting him "independent" as far as hardware babysitting. One of the machines at my home has been his for the past months (the 741) and the 721 was mine, but will now be his. I've got two new 741s on the way for me.

I think this will be it for both Mike and I on hardware. My goal has always been to accumulate for security, and this plateau is a good place to be for that objective, methinks.

If they actually did give me another 20 amps or so...well, you know where THAT would go...LOL... Kiss

Hey folks,
In my quest to consolidate my wallet I appear to have sent out a transaction which has way too low of fees.  In previous tries I was able to use the tx accelerator to "help" it along but this transaction apparently has too low of fees for that. TxID is: 6edbf222792b7bde966623e37981c15827cc07dc51dd70bab653025666e1f76c

Should I just wait (I tried to send it last night) and if so, how long until it is flagged as failed or returned so I can try again with more fees.

For background, I used to just send my payouts from here to my KeepKey wallet but I was finding the txfees to be rather high when I tried to spend the coins.  Bright idea was then to send them to my bitcoin node I have on a headless linux box.  This allowed me to wait until I had a couple hundred mBTC and then send it to my Keepkey wallet.  This meant I had to calculate an appropriate fee and set the bitcoin node to send with it.  It worked fine the last time I did this but I assume this transactions had more inputs or the network is just that much more congested.  Live and learn - I know the coins are there.  Just trying to figure out how long til I can try again. ... to send them to my bitcoin node I have on a headless linux box.

The two "do-it-yourself" ways would be
  • to try to issue abandontransaction "txid" in the command console of your core.  I've had limited success with that.
  • restart core with "-zapwallettxes=2, which will give you back control of the unconfirmed funds - just know that the unconfirmed transaction still exists.  The goal now is to usurp the unconfirmed transaction and respend the same funds with adequate transaction fees.  The "second" spending of the funds will get confirmed, causing the network to mark your original transaction as an invalid double-spend.
More details can be acquired by googling the core commands given above.  If you're adventurous, add "rawtx" and "sendrawtransaction" to the search terms for the do-it-yourself transaction accelerator.

You used a fee of 1000 satoshis/kbyte, instead of 10000 satoshis/kb which is what that accelerator you were talking about uses. I've added your transaction to a different accelerator and it should be confirmed within the next few hours, so you shouldn't have to do anything about it.

If it doesn't get confirmed, follow cedarlug's steps, or read this thread for more solutions and more info.

Yup...that's a big plus for mining here, methinks.

Living on a micro-tropical island in the middle of the Pacific can have its down side...we lost the island's power for three hours last night. Dunno why yet. Nice to wake up to problems solved and blocks found, though.

Does anyone else hear that creepy-crawly, shrill sound that a troll makes? Man, it's like finger-nails on a blackboard!

P.S. I just noticed that BTC was trading at $2,919. Not bad for a coin that is biting the dust! LOL   Grin Grin

Ethereum is now trading above $300. Thanks for crippling bitcoin! Smiley
You're Welcome!  Kiss

Though I don't think trading at about 7 times what it was last year is exactly what most would call crippling.  Tongue
