lol I think one of my boards in my s9 is having some issues it's hw is 6021 the other 2 are 42 and 46.
If yours is, then so is mine which has been that way for weeks with full hashing...  Mine is 8188, 80 and 91

Have had that on mine too, as long as they're still hashing away, no biggie.  Keep the temp's down.

I am out guys.

Kano is great and really no complaints other than our hash rate being 1/5 what it once was has led us to blocks being few and far between. I know it is all based on luck and no one can control that but the higher your hash rate the more predictable the payouts are.

The last few blocks we hit I got over $20 each with just a single 741. I switched over to NiceHash which I know the general consensus is they suck but they are selling your hash power not relying on finding blocks and I earn a steady $10-$12 every day. When Kano hits blocks it is certainly better but I will take my guaranteed $70-$80 a week over maybe getting $20 every 3-4 days.

The way I figure it 80 days of Nice Hash will pay for the miner. Then I can play with the houses money and jump back on the pool where in a sense it is more like gambling with no assured payouts but the potential for higher rewards.

Hey Kano,

This is my first post, so I hope I'm doing this correctly and in the right spot.  Any who, I started out on p2pool for a month and obviously didn't get a block at all, then found kano and been very happy with the results.  I started out with an S7 for 2 weeks and eventually got a S9 and working on getting another S9.  I have two questions.

One: Under my workers stats page it shows a steady average almost 19Th's  (S7 4.79THs - S9 13.92THs)  but yet keeps getting emails that I'm below 2TH threshold as I set that in my setting page.  This has been happening since September.

Two: I been getting EVERY reward about a day after the block is found with no issues.  But on the last block is says I got paid but didn't and its been a few days so I'm not sure if or what I should do.

495143 19/Nov 22:06   14.76622958   6.826T   237hr 20m 24s   34.31PHs   0.05%   3.500G   17.59THs   0.00756995

BTW: very happy with this Pool and thank you for it.  Michael

ive got a s9 13.5 and a ebit e9+ 9.5 running on the same worker in and my invalids are only at .065 % is this the norm?

Do you have a screen shot?
For the S9, the only % is for Hardware Errors, which are different than Stales or Invalid Shares I believe.
Look at the Discarded, Rejected, and Stale columns.

58,453 Accepted
497 Rejected
438,883 Discarded
15 Stale

58453/439395 = 0.133 or around 13%, so around 1 out of 8 are invalid
S9 and S7 both have around these levels for me.

Not a screen shot but here are the current figures from the s9, the e9+ doesn't have all that the s9 does.

diff: 10.8k
getworks: 10,487
accepted: 89,352
diffA: 986,371,488
diffr: 677,075
rejected: 61
discarded: 167,725 which is the what were talking about I guess, I didn't see it before.
stale: 26
local work: 15,736,184
best share: 1750787685
time frame: 3d15h16m48s

Look here https://kano.is/index.php?k=workers

My invalids are at .060%.  The single worker I have setup houses both my s9 and e9+ so that's the invalids combined.

Kano used to pay the transaction fees to send our payments from the mining fee % he collected. He is not charging a fee currently and to the end of the year so to send payments as soon as the block is hit would be money out of his pocket. What he is going to do is add the transactions in on the next block the pool hits and they will get paid then. So basically the way I understand it from now until the end of the year when he is charging no fees you will get paid for each block when the following block is found.

Hey kano, why not have a transaction fee wallet address, so we can donate to it if we want to, and then when we find a block and its validated, if there is funds in that wallet it can go out with a transaction fee (enough to validate it in say 24 hours) and if there are no funds in it then we just wait till we find the next block.

Mine @ pools that pay Tx fees & don't mine empty blocks :: kanopool :: ckpool ::
Should bitmain create LPM for all models?

I'll add the 42,000 sat on the next one like I've done often before.
It's just that I'd changed it to deal with no fee to me and thus the transaction didn't include anything I could subtract.
I'll sort it out with the next block payout.

For anyone unsure about that "Discarded" number:
It doesn't matter at all.

What it actually is, is the number of work items that bmminer generated but didn't use.
Basically, it generates work to be hashed but they aren't all used, just queued up waiting to be used.
Then a block change comes in with new work, and the old already queued up, but unused, work is "discarded"
So basically you can ignore that number, since it's not related to anything you send back to the pool
(and it's not wasted/rejected hashing done)

It's basically just poor design by Bitmain to generate so much extra unused work.

anyone else have input on this?  lol I have no idea if this is ok or if it's actually a problem with the board.

I have one S9 like this too. After 38 days since last reboot 1st card HW 51575 - 2nd card 4724 - 3rd card 463 total 56763 - 0.0005%
Shortly after I put this unit online I sent the HW numbers to bitmain support asking if there was an issue with the card. They responded that it was normal and not to be concerned. The miner is working good with no issues.

Bitmain support response below
"Thank you for contacting us. Some hardware errors are normal and expected in a good working miner. The errors on your miner are ok. The miner appears to be working well."

TL; DR

Does anyone know if and or when dust payments are going to be paid out?  They're now worth more than ten times what they were when I earned them...

Been answered before? Or is that TS? Tongue

I was sidetracked on the bad luck concerns of the end of Oct
That's pretty much done now.

So the payout/accounting change is back in top priority ...

TL; DR: not done yet.

Hi Guys!

Newbie here. I'm been mining with USB miners for awhile in other pools. This week though I got my two Antminer S7 and they are mining well. Two S9 coming soon.

8.29THs in stats so far.

Happy to contribute to the pool.

No fee until 2018 begins, my boy...tha'ts means, the payout, comes when the pool find a new block, and not the Kano-san distibuting all the inputs andressess.

Well, the payments will be according to waste me/my power?
I get what is earned when a block is found?

Why f2pool payments daily and here are some strange rules..
I'm almost 2 years on this mule, previously accrued on a daily basis.
