You shouldve been here at the beginning of the month. You'd be talking much differently. I'd still suggest you stick around have some patience.

You are almost near to ramp up, now if you leave and pool hits a block or two, you will miss it badly why you left in first place. Although you would still get rewards due to ramp down.

I will never leave Kanopool again as I realized hard that it's the best place to be if mining BTC.

Care to clear up why you deleted this quote?

Par Avion - I don't know how many people I speak for on this pool/forum   Please leave.  You have been nothing but an idiot complaining.  I read posts quickly, and I come across general questions answers and opinions, then I read a really stupid negative one, and just for fun, because I really never look to see who posted it, on the negative ones, I see your name... ALL THE TIME

Maybe it was you that brought bad luck?  When did you join?

Others, please Register your vote - to Kick or not to kick  :-)

You don't kick people just because you don't agree with them. It's called Freedom of Speech. We live in a democracy. Your attitude should be: "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." Just let stupid people be. The best way to put them in their proper place? Ignore them.

Huh?  Not everyone here is located in the US.

Thanks guys, good feedback, I will hang in there. I'm totally new with this mining stuff, was becoming concern that I was wasting my time. I was on slush pool for my first week, we found several blocks but my payout was very little. I've been researching mining pools on the web and found a lot of information saying Kano had lowest fees and the best payouts, so I will hang in there and see. Thanks for all your help..........

Yep, you end up splitting those blocks at slush that your piece of the pie is teeny tiny.   Once we destroy this block of death, things will pick up...

Hi, I apologies if this is stupid question. But i'm pretty new to kano and still trying to figure it out how it works.
I have some machines at slush pool wile I'm testing one mining machine at kano already for some days.
Still no rewards or payouts. Do we need to find new block before any rewards?
Can I somehow calculate form this how much I mine? This PPLNS is pretty confusing.

Work Diff   :Last Share   Shares   :Diff   :Share Rate   «Elapsed   :Invalid   Block %   :Hash Rate
xxxxxxxx   11.114k   1s   104,749   1,174,391,082   9.76THs   1m 28s   0.189%   0.012%   13.12THs
Total: 1 (1 active workers)   104,749   1,174,391,082   9.76THs       0.189%   0.012%   13.12THs

Yes, we get rewarded for each block found.  You'd get (Block reward + txn fees)*0.991 * 0.012%, that's approximately your proportion of the pools hashrate though it's really based on shares but it's close enough since kanosan wrote it!

If you're referring to the red avg line on your Shift Graph, I believe that is an average over the whole 23 or 24 days that the graph covers--not your ramp.

Edit: See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg29295198#msg29295198

That's the entire line...if you've been here for 15 days, you're ramped up.

The pool hash rate for the last day is roughly 50.66PHs which means the 5Nd 'ramp' is roughly 12days 18hrs.

You're way past that now

Phew, ok thanks guys Smiley In other news, I will need to shut down miners for a week starting Saturday night Sad Going away on holidays and can't really leave them running without keeping an eye on them. As I understand it, my ramp will at least keep for a few days? Is it the same time to ramp down? So if I rejoin when I get back in a week I will need to contribute for another 5-7 days to ramp back up to full?

All depends on the hashrate of the pool. It the hashrate was lower on your ramp up than it is on the ramp down, you will ramp down quicker. But yes, you will need to ramp back up. I have no problems leaving mine running with remote access so maybe look into how you can do that and leave your rigs up and hashing.

Same as the ramp up, but the ramp up is less time than when you originally started..  This assumes that the pool hash rate stays the same.
