Hmm, if only we could get to the place where we're getting blocks fast enough to confirm our own payouts from our previous block...

Anybody know how to calculate what PH we'd have to get to for that?

Edit: I guess I could use Kano's pool calculator.

Edit 2: ~300 PH
We've grown substantially in the last 2 months. Today we are hovering around 170ph/s....someone is pouring gas on the fire!!!
Also, I have the day off from work, so I'm working on projects for promoting. Every little bit helps.
You Da Man! BTW I'd have to get at least one more miner to stay out of the dust at that point--happy problem, I suppose

Time to get an s9 or an Avalon 821/841.  That will definitely keep you out of the dust payments for quite awhile.

Is there anymore bitmain coupons?

Lots of $100 ones floating around.  Just provide your Bitmain username.

Mined for a living since 2017.  Dabbled for years before that.

Hey guys,

Where are you buying your PSU cables? I always buy from Ironbox in Amazon, the price of the cable is fine but the shipping prices are too high!

Any recommendation where to buy NEMA 6-20P to C13 cables for cheap?

I don't know, maybe I'm a bit of a cheapskate!  Grin

I bought 3' C13 to 6-15P (what matched my sockets) from Volex for $3.55 each.

I usually use cables from https://www.stayonline.com/208v-straight-blade-cords-20a.aspx OR check overstock.com as Overstock accepts BTC for payment.

With BTC fees so low, it doesn't really matter if we confirm it, or someone else does.   It gets confirmed regardless
I just thought it would be cool to reach critical mass in a sense by being able to sustain the blockchain solely on our own payouts for creating new blocks. Ha!

Personally I'd grab an 841 over an S9. Their price is under $1000usd, and Canaan is undoubtedly better than Bitmain. 841's come with warranty, and the reliability is great. Something new is definitely near, as prices are dropping.

Ping them all, and set the fastest ones in numerical order. Thats how I'm set up.

Where can you get them for that?

As rifleman74 said, Blokforge. Their site appears to be down atm. However, they are an amazing company!!! I've ordered from them 3 times, and they were appreciative enough to send me out a coupon a couple of weeks ago. I posted a big thank you promotion for them, and they added some Hashrate to Kano's Pool, as a thank you, although I'm quite sure they're happy they did!!!  Wink

Good choice. Since they make the cables they sell you know you are getting high-quality cords that meet all required international safety standards so insurance companies stay happy.
