three blocks a day is great. Only thing thats a tad disapointing is the reward per block... Due to higher pool hashrate, the profit for each block dropped. Thats no problem, as it should result in more blocks.... But its a direct hit in the wallet, and sure feels bad...  Sad
Hate ta say it, but you're starting to sound like our old friend DPoS2. Grin

Not sure how this works but we've had six block since I began here. Nothing is showing in the wallet I pointed my account yet? Three of the blocks have matured and nothing shows. I'm only using one s3 while I wait for another power supply and the total reward is only 0.00012963 for all of it. am i being eaten up in fees?

Like others have said, you're below dust levels.

Yep.

i couldn't care less...

i dont know the user, just saying how it feels, which is confirmed by others as well.

Some, however, don't tolerate anything written that even might be in the direction of not fully positive...

I dont know with most of you, but i dont mine for fun only. I'd like to make a profit out of it as well. Its a very nice hobby, but i would like to earn a few bucks as well. Apparently to some that is highly strange...

There are those who get testy when people confuse variance with expectation.  The expectation from ALL POOLS should approach 100%, the differences then being fees and pool size.  Pool size affects variance, not what's expected.

Think Sheldon Cooper and you'll understand the harrumphs...    Cheesy

Put more hash into the pool then, your rewards will increase or at least stay constant.   This is how mining works.

this is why a miner should make some good profit; in order to purchase more hash....

In an ideal utopian world this is true...in the bitcoin mining world your profits are decreased every time difficulty goes up.  Put another way, the expected amount of BTC you earn is 100%...the growth of the pool has nothing to do with how much that is.  You always expect to get 100% and when difficulty goes up you always expect to get 100% of the lesser amount caused by the higher difficulty.

All the pool size does is either give you larger payouts less frequently when it is smaller or smaller payouts more frequently when it's larger.

EDIT:  What you really want is the BTC price to go up so you have more buying power.  That's the one great equalizer in the bitcoin mining world.

Here's my stat's up to date for the month of May for 2 S9's one hashing at 13.1 and the other at 13.6.  They have been online everyday 24/7 with the exception of a 24/36 hour period in the beginning of the month.

22 blocks in April was a total of 277.25BTC vs. 22 Blocks in May 264.68BTC The fees were really down this month.

May is not done yet...the expected amount over the next 3 days is a little more than 2 blocks which will put May at approximately 289BTC.

And it looks like we found 21 blocks for the month instead of 22 blocks.  There's a dup record on the blocks page.  So basically the block sizes were almost exactly the same month to month.

And some of us have committed to this as our primary source of income to feed our families.  It stopped being a hobby for me about 7 months ago when I made that committment.

Mined for a living since 2017.  Dabbled for years before that.

You do realize that there is a mistake, the pool can't hit the same block twice. We have hit 21 Blocks, not 22.

When I began promoting Kano Pool, back in February during the block of death, we were at about ~45PH/s. Needless to say, we've come ALONG way in a short time.

My goal is to keep ahead of the Difficulty, and achieve more frequent Rewards. Yes, the Rewards are a bit smaller. However, if we just stayed stagnant, the Difficulty would eventually cause the same thing, and the Rewards would be less frequent.

Whether or not I consider this a hobby, profitability is the end game. I would love to, and have been, adding to my hashrate. I'm currently in the process of getting another 841 for my collection. The key factor for being Profitable, for me, at this point is: Promoting and Recruiting more hashrate to the pool.

When I go to my job, I take the necessary equipment, for the task at hand. Here, our necessary equipment is HashPower. So, I have MY hashrate, but I'm looking for others to contribute to the overall. We can just fool ourselves and say, promoting is not my problem, but indeed it is. If we build it.....they will come!!!
