I finally switched back to your pool and figured out I had the wrong wallet address still saved (so first payment going to the great gods of BTC...yeah...). When trying to change the address via phone I inserted my pw wrongly too often. How long do I have to wait until I can login again?

Edit: OK.....discord doesn't seem to work for me. I Join the server via android app, have to wait 10 minutes... but I get kicked from the server

Scaary - you only use the discord invite link ONCE, just to register there. It is an INVITE link - not general access.
Once registered just copy the address from the browser address bar and use THAT to get in.

KanoPool support goes something like this: If an user loses a password, he/she has to make a new account (with a different login name), the end.

Kano used to respond very quickly on IRC, not sure about this newfangled Discord thing...

If you lose your password you simply use the "Password Reset" which emails you a web code to reset your password ... as has been possible for 5 years

What you are probably referring to is, if you enable 2FA, but don't bother to save your 2FA secret key, which the web page shows you and tells you to do so in bold red, then you cannot get back into your account if you lose your 2FA device.
The point of 2FA is to be secure, otherwise there's no point having it if you can bypass it.

N.B. if you wish to setup 2FA on more than one device,

I've no idea who the user is you are referring to, but if anyone enables 2FA, ignores the web site, and loses access to their account, then yes they just create a new account.

Until I change it in the (far distant) future ... the payout is every block, as long as you earn more than 10,000 satoshis in that block (i.e. above dust)
Currently about 500GHs should get you above dust.
