If the pool can rip a few quick blocks I add more stuff here.

If you wait until after the quick ones then you miss out on the benefit of the quick ones.
My sentiments exactly.

The quick few reduces my risk of adding more and I can comfortably wait out a longer block while the new stuff gets up on the pool.  Wink

The hardware I put to this pool was purchased from sports book proceeds.

My reported speed has been going like a roller coaster the last several hours. +/- as much as 120GH/s with nearly similar differences between worker rate and pool rate. I'm wondering if there is an issue upsteam from me to the westcoast server as my hashrate seems fairly steady to the Guild, I'm not seeing the load balance shifting it's bias dramatically from one pool to the other.

Upstream stratum servers can't affect your hashrate directly. If there are fluctuations it's likely you are running very high diffs for the hardware or higher than the other pool you're load balancing with. The hashrate is not fluctuating, but the measurement of hashrate and distribution will be much more variable.

I'm set at 512 on both pools with 8x 12chip r-box's. I know there is some really bad weather rolling in on the coast as well.

With the pool hashrate dropping down this low, it will be about 3 days for a block... unless we get real lucky which would be awesome. Bigger payout!  Grin

I know that over time payouts are equal regardless of what pool you're on  however the way I look at it is that payouts are exponentially bigger here so when we hit a lucky str
etch it's emotionally satisfying to see all those big payouts Smiley

Well, as I mentioned, there "should" be some sizeable hash rate added on soon.
I made changes for them that are in git and will put them live into the pool some time today.
The changes allow payouts to be spit by % across multiple payout addresses.
It's only available for anyone with a large hash rate (> 100THs) but if you are in that arena, PM me if you are interested.
The pool of course already allows breaking up payout based on mining devices by simply having multiple accounts each with a different payout address.
This change allows the other possibility of a % breakup if I flag the account to allow it.
Doing this update now, so web site stats will be '?' and such for a short while.

There's also another update in this that it will put bold RED reminder messages on each page, if you are logged in and you don't have an email address or a payout address.

Lastly, the web code has a major function change in the php, so while I'm moving the new php code in, some pages may get errors until it's all moved.
This is a reasonably quick process, but I don't allow git to directly affect the web site, I have to manually update the web code from the git copy - for security reasons - and I also check what's changed vs the current web code, with each file, so it takes a couple of minutes with this many changes.

I'll reply on this one again when it's complete.
Update all done.
Now to chase up that person with the 1PH Smiley

Hi Kano and CK, just stopped by to say thanks again for creating and running such a great pool!

I switched my 1TH over on the 7th October and have mined over 0.7BTC so far, which I reckon is pretty good considering I no longer run my machines at night to save electricity and sleep.

Keep up the excellent work, there are a lot of people who appreciate it.
