Having had a whole bunch of BTC miners go chasing after altcoins and leave the pool temporarily or permanently, I'm going to make a change to the payout now that I said in the opening post I would make at some stage.
This will of course be to the advantage of anyone who has stayed mining and continues to mine, but also as planned to happen sooner or later anyway.

For the N in the PPLNS, I've used the Network Difficulty when the block was found.
I'm increasing that now to 5N.

There's a catch with increasing it, I cannot increase it beyond the internal workmarkers that exist.
The current last workmarker is during block 333809, before it was found, so I'd have to start counting from when block 33809 was found.
So for any blocks found before 5N after block 333809, it will be the smaller amount (which already currently > N) back to block 333809.
This is currently ~106% i.e. all shares from after 333809 was found, to when block 334106 was found, and all shares since that.

The change from N to 5N would have an affect no matter when it was done, but doing it now with the above restriction will modify the expected payout to be to the advantage of those who've stayed mining.

In case anyone didn't notice it Smiley
.
PPLNS Stratum BTC mining pool - N currently set as the network difficulty when the block is found - will be increased as the pool grows.

Sounds good.  Now if Bitmain would drop his prices, I'd get some more hashing to put on here.  Waiting on $.27-.32/gh shipped.  I know wish in one hand. Sad

Is the api for "hashrate1d" messed up?  I see good numbers on the 1m, 5m, 1hr, but nothing close on the 1d.  I'm just mining to my address without logging in.

Here's the example http://www.kano.is/worker.php?a=1PEapF6rZNMkykfoJrfDSKT4Z7neGbF5ku_S4-2

Check in again after 24 hours. In order to get accurate stats you need to mine at least one day non stop Wink it adss up slowley...

I just now switched from mining to an address to mining as a worker.  I see the pool stats for 1day are also out of whack, so I'm guessing its just a calc bust.

Kano, by switching, I'm guessing I'll get 2 payouts for this next block we find?

Thanks.

If you were mining to an address before, and now to a user account with a different payout address, then yes you'll get two separate payouts in the next block.

Welcome to the pool. Let's hope your added hashing ends the dry spell.  Haven't found an app yet myself, but I loaded chrome with my bookmark to my worker page and that seems to get me most of what I want to see.

Edit, never mind it's back up.
A couple of minor ckdb changes with restarts to include them - and as usual when I restart ckdb the web stats show '?' for a short while until the restart+reload completes
(at the moment that's 5-10 minutes)
Of course, restarting ckdb doesn't affect mining.

Yeah safari on iDevices has some issue with the web menus ... that I still haven't got around to fixing.
Every other browser I've tried on linux, windows and android all work OK Smiley
Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE
Safari on windows also works fine.

Sorry guys had to drop my 8T.  Somebody came and offered me cash this morning for my 3-S4 & 2 Dragons.  It was more than what I can buy new, so had to do it.  Huh

I'll be back when I restock.  Now if somebody would by my Hellgate London Weta statues and Shelby Mustang, my wife would really be happy.  Grin

I wish!  It's the 2008 baby GT convertible.  It's one of about 192 convertible/automatics that was made. Only 2,200 miles on it.  It's a sweet car, but wife sees it as my mid-life crisis vehicle.
