I don't think the coin is really broken.  Problem is that there's no reason to buy SONG and there's no reason to mine SONG.

Are you finding reason to buy most of that crypto,me not

Diff is to high so minersare not mining,thay have a lot of more easy stuff

Thanks everyone for your continued patience.  There are a number of technical issues that need to be urgently addressed.  We should be happily running under the KGW algo at the moment unfortunately the team paid to initiate the change aren't responding to my request for follow-up support.

So I'll keep trying.

Oh PS - make sure you mine the right block-chain -- LOL - there are two of them out there now.

Use Hash-to-Coins.com pool or setup your own with the older wallets.  The new wallets are not being recognized by C-Cex.

hmm well mined it for 4 hours, but didnt realise there were two block chains so stopped now, has the wallet been updated ?
this is a bit of a mess cant the dev provide 400mh/s . I was mining at lifeforce pool so not sure if they are using the new blockchain i cant really tell because nothing is syncing and no txs coming through. Is there a new block explorer for this ??

Yeah - unfortunately you wasted your hash.  Lifeforcepools has the supposed new block-chain, but C-Cex or the block explorer never switched to it -- so that chain will not be recognized.  Oh wow - and you mined 645 blocks on the wrong chain.  Ouch.

The whole thing is a train-wreck.

I don't know if the wallets online are the old or the new.  Github has the original files.  For some reason the developer never updated Github with the new wallets - so something just isn't right.

i dont understand why they dont just sort it. i would be willing to put a good few gh/s behind it if they sorted there shit out. so if i put gh/s behind it at the right pool what will happen ? will c cex recognize it ?

The whole SONG coin thing is really puzzling and frustrating to me too.  I just don't get it.  I think developer ran out of money -- but after that I don't know why he won't sell off the pre-mine so that people can make this coin work. 

I don't want to put money into this when it appears one person owns a super-majority of the coin.

By the way, CRYPTOPIA seems on the old Chain also, not c-cex only.
And i wonder how a exchange or pool could do an update if the new wallet files are not provided on github or a comparable public source.

Everyone stuck to the old chain except for LifeForcePools - which I think was a mistake on their part.

I would not switch to anything unless the wallet is released through the appropriate channels (like Github and the official coin website).

Otherwise - what is to prevent an imposter from coming in and posing as someone they are not -- releasing new wallets?

LifeForcePools should have waited until the wallets were on Github.

Also C-Cex will not switch to a new block chain until the "official block explorer" has been switched over and there are no issues with the new wallet from their customers.
